The A-Whale bills itself as the largest open-water oil skimmer in the world, and it’s at least very impressive. Originally an oil and ore tanker, the ship’s owners recently refitted the ship to do exactly the kind of work that the US so desperately needs in the Gulf of Mexico, and to do it on a vastly larger scale than current operations can handle. According to the ship’s project manager, the entire American effort in 66 days has skimmed off 600,000 barrels of oil. The ship’s owners claim that A-Whale can skim 500,000 barrels a day.

You see nothing. Obama failed and lett he oil hit the bech by not doing squat for two months over this. He had time to play golf, host calderone, go on vacation, etc, there is no excuse whatsoever for his negliugence. Even for you, the biggest pom pom fan girl for obama I have ever encouintered, obama is directly responsible for not waiving rhe jones act, turning down the dutch, getting in jindals way, and agitating the situation.

240 didn't care, either. He sat there pandering for Obama and applauding his handling of the spill for 50+ days. It's only when the oil washed up on Florida's shores that his tune changed.

Thank you for your honesty. You care more about palin than obama and now have to deal with oil n your beaches. Perhaps if you paid more attention to the disaster in the WH, you would understand why people are so pissed off at obama.

would be to get the word out that this mighty ship is available.Let it trickle up to FOX news, so they can feed it to palin's prompter, and of course, obama will activate the ship 12 hours ahead of that so she can be pwned.

1) I didn't vote for obama. My 2008 rally was more of disgust for Bush and Bush2 (mccain) and palin (dangerously overconfident and underqualified).

I was willing to give Obama 18 months or so as that's what economists usually use as the marker to see whether policy changes are going to work or not. I even spent a good deal of time arguing with you about "giving him a chance" (how wrong I was on that regard).

It's been just about 18 months and his policies haven't done shit but made the situation worse. I can't think of anything positive he's done so I don't see why I should still be receptive to him. That and the far-left has done a great job making people hate them with their constant excuses and other bullshit they spew about the messiah, like his DISASTROUS handling of this oil spill.

72 days into the spill and he MIGHT use this ship that could potentially skim 500,000 gallons a day. He's a fucking winner, alright.
