Dennis Wolf---Best days behind him?
« on: June 28, 2010, 07:46:19 PM »
big fan of his, and wish him the best.

but do you think his best showing was the 08 Olympia?  Or will he make a huge comeback in 2010?

i think BB needs him (as opposed to monkey looking, grapefruit doing, gay poser extraordinarie, Kai Greene)

His best was 07 olympia.  I think he can get it together, he is still young.  I hope so.

He should beat heath every single contest simply because his structure is so much better.  fuck conditioning which involves alot of luck.

i used to support him.........but from things i heard recently........he seems like a piece of shit

just a typical arrogant, insecure, selfish, mean-spirited, undisciplined baby..............typica l ego-inflated bodybuilding douche

with his contest preps.......
he thinks he know what is what, and messes up, due to insecurity and no self-control..then when things go awry,..........he blames it on his prep coach............even though he refused to follow the instructions of the prep coach.............and did what he wanted to do throughout the prep anyway

then he fires the coach and badmouths them........and blames the loss on them.........he has done it to multiple people now, nto just one or two

he is the quintessential asshole adolescent selfish bodybuilder..........fuc k em'

Cmon bro, he's bigger and wider than Phil but that's it. Smooth as a babies ass ans his already poor lower back has disappeared. He's a second tier guy now and willnever threaten to beat Phil.

if you followed the story..........he didnt listen to "teh chad"............nor did he listen to the guy who prepped him for the NY pro

instead he listens to the boards, and industry people that dont know what the fuck there are talking about, and that stupid fat wife of his

if he actually did what chad told him to do (which he did not) or what the last guy told him to do (which he did not).............he would have probably done much better

BBers should be responsible for themselves and their own prep, that way they can't blame someone else when they look like shit.

I shot Dennis 3 weeks out from the show and he was well on target to be his best ever. But Patrick's "Plan A" was to have Dennis show up with ripped glutes but as the show got closer Dennis was losing far too much size.  Patrick also had him on zero carbs for three days the last week of the show which was a huge mistake.

Below is a shot from 3 weeks before the show and I'd guess Dennis was close to 20lbs lighter by the time he got to NY.

They always peak 3 weeks out. Whats up with that? Can't tell you how many times I've seen some BBr looking way better 3 weeks out  ::)

But what about his very good upper middle inner outer back? Why don't you mention that?

Hmm, where did you hear that? I've always been a fan of Wolf but really know nothing about him. This would definitely change my opinion of him. That's why I like Jay. Not the most charismatic guy in the world but he just seems solid. Like he's the only pro out there with his head screwed on straight.

he sure listened to milos because he actually looked good. i;m not sure about the other coaching but i think he should go ask milos for some help again. i also don;t understand why all these pros look great 3 weeks out and then go on zero carbs. they should take notes from what dorain did..he was ready 3 weeks out and he just cruised into the show.

i still don;t count him out though. realistically he could have 10 more years or more of competiting left

He was good in 07, but he was "still in the oven", now his ass looks like "he stayedin the oven too long"

He was a overhyped never was...He hever fixed his back detail, lower back or calves, all drugs...go back to Germany....proof positive that everything built in Germany is not always quality.

Its nobodys fault. He fucks himself up, he doesnt stick to his diet, takes decisions by his own, comes onstage looking like shit and then he just blames others. Your typical asshole.

I think his best showing was obviously 2007 when people were clamouring for him to be given a higher placing that year and I do think he was screwed in the judging.

Having said that there are other guys now who have simply surpassed him - Heath, Kai, even Branch Warren (although I think he too has peaked).

I can't see Wolf finishing any higher than 5th in any future Mr Olympia's he competes in. He still needs more overall size, back detail, bigger calves (which aren't going to happen now) and neds to improve his colouring onstage as well - the last few years we've seen him he looks washed out.

Spot on observation. If anyone was all drugs, it's him. He's only something like 32 and looks 42.
