grow better off less food

guys I tried the stuffing my face thing and grew no faster than when i eat 35 grams of protein a few times a day with some carbs when I need them. The only thing I got was extremely tired when eating so much and very lethargic.

Nope - not weird at all.

It’s true that you have to consume sufficient nutrient intake in order to train, recover, and grow.
However, there’s a physiological limit as to how much and how fast your body can do those things.
Once you reach that threshold, no amount of additional nutrients, calories, or training will benefit you.

In fact, in many cases - such as yours - the "extreme" can have a negative effect.

yeah bro I was eating around 350grams of protein per day with a ton of carbs and all I did was get bloated.

I ate 6 meals a day consisting of 30 grams of protein per meal with carbs around workouts and I grew way better.

I'm running a cycle of test deca and dbol so I am debating how much protein to run considering I am going to be on  a good amount of anabolics.

any advice welcome.

The scope of my knowledge regarding anabolic steroids is limited, and I have ZERO firsthand experience with them.
However, a good, general rule of thumb is that AS’s help shorten recovery times and extend the body’s limits in terms of rate and amount of growth - or whatever changes you're making to body composition.

Depending on which specific steroids you’re taking, now is when you can benefit from more food.
To learn more about the different mechanisms and effects of various AS’s, search & ask questions on the Steroid board, as they can no doubt offer more and better advice than I can.

Just looking at the three you mentioned, though, I'd say it's safe to bump up your calories.
They should be put to good use.

You may think you are eating less but in reality you are probably now eating what your body can actually assimilate.  This means less time digesting excess calories.  Which means you'll feel lighter and better.
