Gold's Gym/Venice shows no respect?

Arnold they took down for whatever resason but I would think they'd have Dexter's up there. Makes me wonder if he's even welcomed at that gym.

1) the arnold classic takes place in ohio.......far away from the california political scene

2)  the arnold classic is a BIG money maker for arnold, and it would be too obvious if he all of a sudden dropped it

                         (which brings me to my last point)

3)  bodybuilding is slowly being phased out of the arnold classic...........im not a insider, so i will not give a timeframe.........but it will happen eventually...........if you have followed the progression of the arnold classis, it has changed a LOT in the past couple years.  from a pure bodybuilding event.........to a sports festival............ther e were like over a hundred different sports competing at the 1010 arnold classic.  over the next couple years or next decade..........you will see the role of professional bodybuilding continue to minimalize, and the other sports continue to grow............they will eventually take emphasis. 

arnold would look like a total phony if he all of a sudden dropped pro bodybuilding, so he is phasing it out...........which is a smart plan...........because instead of cancellin gthe event.............he could add tons of new sports,...........maek MORE money............and still get the desired result...........WHICH IS TO DISTANCE HIMSELF FROM BODYBUILDING.

it really doesn't matter where it is....there is footage of Arnold proclaiming "i'll never lose touch with Bodybuilding, it made me who I am today" on youtube that anyone can easily find.

See....now that sounds like Arnold to me....I don't pretend to know how the man thinks, but it's pretty obvious for as many people he's stepped on to get where he is, he has loyalty to the people like Franco and Art that were there from the very beginning .

Anyways...I got the scoop straight from Golds' management themselves when it was happening. It was a big deal to everyone in Venice at the time.

Couldnt be more wrong...the time for Arnold to "distance himself from BB"...would have been years ago when he was running for Gov, and all the steroid shit started becoming an issue on capitol hill...

The arnold calssic pro BB continues to be the epicenter of th weekend, and the amateur arnold was added just 2 years ago with hundereds of athleets from all over the world competing...the sports expo has certainly expanded greatly over the years, but to think that it will be dissolved is laughable.
