GUNS ARE HERE.  we can't go back and change that.  taking guns out of the hands of law abiding citizens is certainly not the answer.  frankly there is no answer.  its a shame.  just like nuclear weapons are here.  Do you think it would be a good idea for the U.S. to disarm?  Maybe the U.S. could set a good example for Iran and they would follow suit.  Maybe Iran and North Korea would see the error of their ways and disarm as well.  That would probably be the libs solution.  Then we'd all die.  Thanks God for conservatives.

I hope you would go to jail, if they are standing there not threatening them with their life, then your option is to flee to safety not hurt the intruder, maybe get your wife and kids first, if you hurt the intruder if he isn't threatening you, you are the criminal and will go to jail.

well, for one, the constitution gives us that RIGHT.  2nd, what if the government were to turn on the people, and the people have no means of fighting?  it is for protection against enemies abroad (foreign gov.) and domestic (our gov.)

you really think having a gun or even ar 15 or fully automatic weapon will protect you from the government if they decide they want your guns or take over some other stuff?  You will be fighting against tanks and fighters jets bro, you will die.

Also if a foreign country does invade, they will leave civilians alone, and if you attack them as a civilian they will make sure to murder your ass with a 50 cal machine gun, get over this I need a gun to protect myself from gov't crap, if gov't wanted they will take your guns, you can't stop them, or you'll end up dead.

I've been in fistfights/shoving matches before, never pulled mine in those situations.  Random shit does pop off, particularly when you're 21/22 that doesn't happen at 30.  Just showing the gun without legal reason is ONE YEAR in prison.  Pointing it at someone, the sentence climbs rapidly. 

Most people with gun permits - you never know they're carrying.  Sure, you get the grizzled guy with camo pants and an H&K shirt, guns are all he has and he's just dying for a conversation.  But most people with permits, you never know they're armed.
