Any deals on protein power online?
« on: July 03, 2010, 10:51:11 AM »
Almost out of protein so I'm looking to get some Casein protein and some Whey, but not sure who has the best deals anymore.

As far as whey goes, you don't necessarily need to go online. Go to Sam's Club and you can get 5-lb bags of EAS Whey Protein for $25 and change. Or, you can hit Wal-Mart and do the Body Fortress products.

lol, thats exactly what i ended up doing, $25 for EAS. Damn good deal but I wasn't so sure how good it is. then again, i guess its very similar to other whey I've seen (made of concentrate and isolate); though admittedly, a part of me says it can't be as good as a $45 jug of Optimum Nutrition, I hope my thoughts are wrong.

No, it's not as good as Optimum Nutrition's wares. Then again, I wouldn't pay $45 for their stuff....and I LOVE the Strawberry Milkshake version of NitroCore 24. Fortunately, I've bought that on clearance from GNC for much less, usually around $20 for the 6-lb jugs.

Check out www.slickdeals.net once a day.

They are always posting a protein deal every week or so.  They just had 2.9 lbs of BSN Syntha for $15 shipped, but it just expired.

But, there's always a 10lb for $50 Optimum deal that happens pretty regularly.

I also agree with the EAS 6 pound Costco deal, but I'm not sure how much soy is in their blend, and it doesn't mix well without a blender.

Dumb bell workout I found online I do it with the 10 lb dumb bells...also eat 1 Kashi bar (13 grams of protein) at work usually before I workout. Then after my workout I eat a Power bar usually the plus ones with 23.
