actually it was over after the 1st round because in a fight if one guy gives the other a constant beating and dont put the other guy away when hes fresh at the start of the fight, well your in trouble, especially if you cant continue the beating in the 2nd round.
its a fight, sometimes you get punched, like brock did, stayed in it and kept fighting.
almost as if lesnar v mir 1, mir took a beating and used his experience and discipline held out and found an opening to get the win. brock did almost the same this fight.
he's becoming more well rounded as a fighter, even tho he took a few punches the 1st round carwin had him in a very bad position but couldn't put brock away, he just didn't have enough mustard to ko brock nor have the judge feel he had to stop it. alotta other guys would have got ko'd, brock is kinda tough to hang.
my stance is the same as when brock 1st got in mma and as i posted on this site years ago when he went ufc, brock is gonna be top guy in the sport and this fight is proof that it's a possibility. he'll be better next fight too.
btw, he did have that sickness too,so to come back from it and to fight and to win, well, thats a fighter all the way round
