It's amazing he survived that from the most heavy-handed HW in MMA!

Even though Brocks standup may not be very good....

He really doesn't need to worry too much about being hit either.

He has proven he can take a punch or 60!

I wouldn't go that far though.  When he takes a direct HW shot to the head and withstands it, then i'll say his chin is tested.

Carwin, as powerful as he may be, punched at a guard up Lesnar.  I only saw a glancing uppercut phase Brock.. albeit a hard one!    I still need more proof of Lesnar's chin IMO.

Ok...I was stretching it a bit ;D, but regardless, Carwin landed some elbows and strikes on the ground that were massive.

Lot's of good HW's for him to be tested with in the UFC.

I was sooo hoping Lesnar was going to go to sleep too.  Really wanted Carwin to win that.

I'd love to see a rematch..

Who's next for Carwin anyways at this point?   Loser of Big Country/Dos Santos?

He's in limbo. Now its Cain vs Brock (maybe) & Dos vs Country. Winner of Dos vs Country will face the HW champ.

I still cannot believe Carwin locked up like that!!!! Guarantee that will never, ever happen to him again!

Well he can work on his conditioning, etc, but all that muscle has to breathe.

exactly right.  Just like Brock had to come down about 25lbs from his beefed up roided WWE days, Carwin will also have to come down a good 15 lbs in order to not gas out like that.

I think they should match up up against 2-3 b-level fighters like Congo & Crop Cop before putting him back in there with the top 3 guys.

Agree, Carwin needs to drop the weight and not cut before fights.

Plus, IMO I think nerves played a HUGE role in Carwin's cardio/cramping.

Not only did he have nerves of the fight, but also the adrenaline of dropping Brock, then unloading everything he had, only to have Brock take it and stand back up.

That really has to do a number of bad things to you.

If Carwin DID have cardio, he'd be a BAD BAD man.

Mauled Brock IMO.

Alot of people ignore the fact that Brock took that G&P and still was able to get out from under Carwin and stand up and hold Carwin to the cage, that has to take a huge mental toll going into round 2.

He far from being the heaviest handed HW.  Fedor and his brother hit harder.  Carwin has 15 to 25 hard hits in his arsenal.  You can't disagree with that.  he proved it.  He is couldn't knock a guy out when he was throwing as hard as he could uncontested.  That is far from strong.

Agree...talk about an emotional ride. You first have the pre-fight nerves, then you drop the champ and almost end the fight, then the huge ox takes everything you got, and stands up!

That is a lot of emotions in several minutes.

Really...then what about the other 12 first round KO's he has to his name?
Nobody has KO'd Brock, or even come that close. How can we really compare?

I agree.  Big Country should face a few more opponents first before possibly getting a title shot if he beats JDS.

HOwever, if he DOES beat JDS, i'll speak otherwise.

If you check my hisory, I have stated many times that I actually wanted Carwin to win.

So please, get off my nuts, and don't worry who I root for. Got it?
