California Rocket Fuel - the best medication for depression

Alot of people out there are depressed. I´ve tried most medications against it, but I got a new psychiatrist and he put me on something called "California Rocket Fuel" and just by the name of it I wanted to give it a try. He wanted me to up the dosage over a few weeks. But I dónt care for shit like that so I just started with high doses right away, and already after 3 days a felt alot better. After 2 weeks a felt great. After one month a felt awesome. It´s almost like being on drugs, but very mild. I sleep great, and sexdrive is higher than before, not like other people have said. Now I take:

300 mg Venlafaxine (Efexor) in the morning
60 mg Mirtazapine (Remeron) in the evening
100 mg Seroquel before bed

None of these are addictive. Yo yo yo getbig a feel better than I did over 1o years ago!

I take the minimum dosage of my meds and started Qi Gong to get rid off them all.

I heard that Effexor can make you put on a lot of weight. I tried it for like two days then read that so quit. I have Seroquel around for nights I have extreme insomnia, works well to make me sleep. Personally I don't like being on a mood stabilizer(zoloft, prozac etc.). My Doc recently put me on 2 mgs. of Ativan and 4 mgs. of Xanax a day and it does the trick. I wanted Adderall, but settling for Bronkaid right now.

LOL 60 mg of mirtazapine on top of that, you are taking 3 drugs and its not working so you add this california too?

60mg mirt is too much, this is hurting your brain in the long run. I just replaced 15 mg mirtazapine for a much milder drug lexapro 10mg. Lost 16 pounds in 2 weeks. Its not addictive no but try quitting these drugs for 4 months and see what happens, you'll go mental. You need to lower your mirt. dose.

Isn't more usually better? Whenever my doc writes me a script for anything, I remind him I am not a woman and he always ups it.

i dont think so dani, when you start off with these drugs you should try the minimal dose because you get tolerant to it and then you need to up the dosage. so for instance 4 mg xanax is a lot, you didnt start off with 4 mg right? you worked up from 0,5 or 1 mg. Heard xanax is good but its a dangerous drug as far as addictive and you get tolerant to it fast so would never try it. I would never take more than one drug at a time, the scientists even dont know the ineractions, neuro transmitters are very complex.

Mirtazapine is a very hypnotic drug, shouldnt use more than 30 mg which also knocks you out at night so you sleep good, i cant imagine 60 mg you must be very tired during the day and your eyes must look like a true druggie on it.

No, I started taking the Xanax by self medicating years ago, at smaller doses. Not sure if I could stop now if I wanted to. There were times I would take 20 mgs. or more a day after years of abuse. Just finally got to the point where I went to the doc and was completely honest about my usage and that's what he put me on.

It's like any other drug, once you get a tolerance you can take a ton of it. Just like how some 100 pound chicks(Nicole Richie) can take 40 vicodins a day etc.

I only take 4 mgs. a day now, plus 2 mgs. of the Ativan. Probably would be best if I quit, but that's not really an option for me.

yes, just try not to go for more than 4 mg, if you get tolerant replace the drug for another kind instead of upping

I only know one person on mood altering medication and that was because he had an Avesher type episode and nearly bit someones finger off at a party.

Most of us are jacked up on something....that's how we keep our edge.

maybe you can switch from xanax to wellburtin, could be your dopamine level is low.

Wellbutrin is a mood stabilizer though. I just like anti-anxiety drugs. And of course opiates, but haven't had an opiate in over three years, it was a bitch to quit.
