I am not talking about a rewarding high paying job that you enjoy, we all know some people love their work. Just a job that is easy and fun? My wife told me she thinks I will be happier if I do something, anything. Some people don't realize that watching tv and laying in the sun is indeed something. At any rate I have been off work since December and spent the majority of my adult life working in real estate/mortgages and am not interested in it at this moment. Not sure what she means, it's not like a 36 year old can go have fun working at the mall, but I told her I would look. Any suggestions?

That's what I don't understand why she told me to look for a fun job. If you HAVE to be there, it's not fun imo.

Not at all, you go in AFTER everything is done and only have to clean up the bits and pieces. It's dirty, stinks and is fucked up.

Otherwise, you can work in a slaughterhouse.

Yes, build it up for weeks and then just go into a tailspin of depression where the only thing that helps are hours by the pool, alcohol and drugs....

SS and DK, both very good ideas. I could say I am getting paid by commission and just learning my craft, then get laid off before making a dime, damn economy!
