u have not become your parents...you r just smart enough not to be a friggin lemming...

music today sux ass for the most part....i blame dwindling IQs and a shit schooling system....we used to do calculus in the 8th grade...now a days i'm told you need to be in high school or go to college before u r deemed mature enough to tackle calculus... ::)

its the dumbing down of society....

personally...i listen to IT lectures in my car on my ipod...or 70s and 80s stuff if my girls with me

oh dear, for the first time ever I agree with all of the differing opinions on a Getbig topic.

Yes, we're supposed to grow up and turn into our Mothers (or is that an other, a Freudian slip joke there)


They have a TV show here called Grumpy Old Women, and now a new one about Grumpy Old Men?  Do you have that where you are?  It is dead funny, people brushing crumbs off the sleeves on their cardigans...  Only kidding.


Now then, this Lady Gaga: as far as I'm concerned (and I'm very old), she's kinda good. The songs are catchy (does she write her own stuff I'd like to know?  I think she does, if not she collaborates and produces.  

She is music and art and a bit of funky sex all in one, kinda like Grace Jones in the 70s80s.  That rumour about whether or not she's a bloke is hype and is funny.  Who cares?


This new song is a morph of Abba and Madonna.  

And sadly kids these days have never heard either of the originals...  

Don't know whether Lady Gaga is good or not yet.  She was totally slammed when here to promote herself on BBC TV, they took the piss out of her and it was embarassing.

the first one was Just Dance.  Don't remember that outfit, but it was mad and I can't recall the vid.  Catchy tune though...  

the second one was Poker Face.  Then she did Papparazzi.  New one is called Fernando or something and sounds exactly like Madonna 20 years ago.  xL
