Because most of the "guys" in Hollywood are like freaking Abercromby models. When ever we (my WIFE and me) go there for dinner I swear these skinny little metrohomosexual are with some of the hottest chicks I've ever seen who are no bigger than their "boyfriends" and just as feminine. Sickening.

On the special edition anniversary DVD John McTiernan, the director, claimed that most of the crew contracted malaria (or some such shit) while filming.

That’s why a lot of the cast looks noticeably heavier/healthier in some scenes than in others.
Arnold’s transformation was most noticeable because he was in the most scenes and also seemed to be hit the hardest.

Just got back from it. Some good parts....some not so good parts. Too many continuity errors though. The way the made Lawrence Fishburn was not how they make him out to be on the trailers. Also, on the trailers...when they emerge from the ship and wind is swirling and Adrian Brody ends up having a Predator's sights on him....in movie there is only one on him....in trailers they show like 6 - 7. WTF

What was funniest was that my girl turned to me in the middle of the movie and said "Isnt it odd that they have Adrian Brody playing this tough guy role when he usually plays twinks?" HA HA HA
