Hahahaha Ok so I'm in the gym this morning doing inclines and see something slowly goin past the big bay door. I glance over when I finish my set and what do I see? a young Amish couple on Rollerblades pushing a baby stroller! No shit honest to God I jumped up grabbed my phone and snapped the above pic. We live close to Amish country but still that would be about a 8 mile skate from there to here hahahah!
AWESOME! Totally made my morning :)

down in Virgina near Roanoke there is a population called the Mennonites, they dress like Amish, but go to the stores and drive cars...

down in Virgina near Roanoke there is a population called the Mennonites, they dress like Amish, but go to the stores and drive cars...

Ohh trust me they are real amish the stink and all!!! We got a very large Amish population in North Eastern Indiana from around Portland and Berne all the way upto Northwest of Ft Wayne in the Shipshewana area. Lots of "Real Stinky Amish" around here. You can smell them Fuckers 3 aisles away in our Walmart.

I have been to the Amish community in PA some tough mofo's do everything manually no power. Dark when the sun goes down in their houses.

Anyone ever seen the documentary "The Devil's Playground"? It's a pretty good watch.

Evidently when they reach their late teens, they are allowed to go off into the "real world" and live as wild as they want, huge parties, drugs, alcohol, sex...all that sort of stuff. It's during this time that they can choose to abandon their families and leave their community or settle down and commit to a Amish type lifestyle for the rest of their lives.

Some of them have cars. One kid Had three Supras and learned how to fix them thru tech books and trial and error. Another guy had a camaro...
There are a lot of car guys in Amish town.

I know a few guys from here who were pretty pissed but No there aint been any Lebron jersey burnings that I'm aware of Hahah :)

I know a guy hwo was raised Amish he left when he was old enuf and has not been back since. He speaks fluent Dutch and the only ones who will talk to him is his sister and bro in law. But yeah even he said they were all Potheads and the kids were getting into the techy stuff.
