You'll see huge amount of the actors, being brits' german's aussies' or canadians, . Just think Terminator 2 American classic, directed by a canadian, staring an austrian, Titanic, half brit cast still canadian director, gladiator, aussie star brit director. Not to mention the huge number of so called american films being shot in vancouver canada. The dark knight, and T salvation, stared aussie, brit combo as well. There are only two things that make america special, large population, and corporations owning your goverment.

And the studios are the ones making the money from the movies.  And it's all fine and well that they make a lot of cash in the US from them, but often the overseas market is much, much larger....you can look it up.  And you mention Denmark as an extreme, but the VAST majority of countries in Europe are the same as the US...UK, Germany, France, etc...

I just always find it amusing that so many foreigners bash everything about US culture, yet they are a huge part of the market that eats it up on every occasion.
