Tampa Pro - Hidetada made a smart move to pull out
« on: July 18, 2010, 06:22:19 AM »
...he wouldn't have been in the finals anyway after Pre-Judging. Now he can say he dropped out from the Tampa due to injury, not he placed 7th at the Tampa. ;D

According to reliable source:
Hidetada Yamagishi had to pull out of the PBW Tampa Pro due to a leg injury sustained earlier in the week while training in Los Angeles.

what a fucktard. Injuring yourself just before a contest you spent months and hundreds of dollars to prepare for. Bah. He ll have to up the "private posing sessions with old men" to compensate for the "financial loss".

Paco placed 8th? I guess they really don't take conditioning into consideration anymore.

time for darrem charles to find a retiring career.  was king of the 10k shows.  even with size increase he cant place anymore.  he did some type of cribs edition a while back showing his new home and getting guest posing.  i hope he has it paid off.

Does it really matter?? 7th place gets you no trophy or any money.  He's already qualified for the O so he prob decided to go grab some pussy or egg rolls rather than finish a contest with no benefits to him.

The pullout due to a leg injury is a complete bunch of bullshit .  Competing doesn't require a display of athletics of any kind..... ::)

Darrem has two personal training businesses in which he spends most of his time.

As far as Hide goes, allegedly after the NY Pro, he was squatting and felt something in his leg and was told by his trainer, Jay Cutler and others that he shouldn't do any leg exercises  as it was his bodies way of telling him to chill out.  So Hide didn't train legs from then until this week.  This week he was did leg extensions and he felt something in his leg and his leg started swelling up and holding water.  He continued his prep and his upper body looked 90% and lower body 70%.

He was hobbling around in pain yesterday and decided to just pull out after prejudging and pull out of next weeks show and focus on the O instead.

Darrem has been an IFBB pro for 18 years.  He's most likely riding out the remainer of his Muscletech contract and fulfilling the competitive obligations before calling it a day.  His personal training business is booming and he prob wants to spend more time with his family and helping out his son in competing.  Certainly can't blame him

Pulling out before you finish is always a smart move...
That being said, would like to see Darrem in shape one more time.

You can't be this stupid? I guess you are. Just because you aren't a square it doesn't mean you can beat Paco. Of course Paco would still beat you in a bbing competition.

However, this is they key point, so listen carefully imbecile: when you have other bodybuilders who are conditioned enough, plus they AREN'T a square, they will still beat Paco, even if they are not AS conditioned. But they can definitely hold their own to a certain extent in the conditioning part.

Yes, Paco is conditioned. But other bodybuilders are conditioned, have good lines and structure, etc. They are more complete bodybuilders, even if they aren't as conditioned as paco.

He is a square and needs to retire. Shitty structure. Just accept it.

Even more shaped, if somebody is double size than others, its a different story.
Paco was almost double size than anybody onstage.
Bodybuilding is the muscle.
Plus many dont have complete ham strings and calves development. And they are more complete?
Just they are too smooth and small comparing with Paco.

All around ugly physique. blocky structure, big waist, mediocre chest. big muscles, sure. But big muscles alone shouldn't win a contest.

Now get your nuts out of Paco's mouth.

And super condition which make everybody look smooth like baby ass. ;)
Only his structure was inferior to others.
What? Bbing only counts structure? Hahahahahaahahahahaha.

Not only structure, but structure does supersede conditioning and even muscularity to an extent. Paco is a great bodybuilder, but has the same problem as guys like Jim Quinn and Art Atwood - tons of muscle and very conditioned, with a crazy look in certain poses, but they all (did) get beaten by less muscular & / or conditioned guys because the latter have better tapers and flow.

That being said, I agree with you - he should've placed above a lot more guys than get 8th place, cause he dwarfed just about everyone and his structure isn't as much of a liability as they make it seem to be.
