Calling it quits on the political stuff
« on: July 20, 2010, 08:28:43 AM »
Shockwave gave me a wake up call, I respect what he says and for the most part he was right. That being said, my mind still won't change about what this administration is, what I (not anyone elses, Rush, Hannity, etc) feel is purposely trying to derail the country to fit their own socialist agenda. As many on here that have their own businesses, a family, mortgage, etc my irritation runs deep. Shockwave mention that I sounded like I "hated" the President, "hate" is a strong word. As I said before in a previous post awhile ago "it used to be that I hated the Presidents politics and not him personally but seeing what he is, IMO, purposely trying to do to the American people (business and our kids in particular ) how can one NOT dislike him on a personal level"?. Of course there's a ton more. I understand no president is perfect and towards the end I know Bush really screwed up, Clinton tried doing the same thing Obama did but in re-election for his second term realized THAT WAS NOT WAS THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WANTED and moved to the center and he won a second re-election, a smart move. But we have or to my best recollection, has anyone seen anything with the likes of this.

Ok, I'm done. Shockwave, thank you.

You dont necessarily have to call it quits man, but just realize how your posts come across, the beauty of politics is that it takes both viewpoints to function, they are supposed to counterbalance each other, the problem now a days, is that that point is lost on people,..

Coach, your not a bad dude, but your political ideals make you out to be quite the delusional and ignorant douchebag.

Im glad you dont want to spend your time on it anymore. not even because i dont like what you have to say, but because unless yoru planning on being an active participant (running for office, helping on campaigns/fundraising, etc) then politics is a wild goose chase. no matter what you say or think, it doesnt matter.

now, if you ever do want to come back to politics, heres just a few quick tips and hints to help you out :)

-the government's only job is to protect each citizens right's to "life, liberty, & PoH", and to provide necessary services that the citizen could not provide for themselves on their own (fire, police, military, post office, DOT, healthcare, etc)

-it is not the government's job to enforce morality upon its citizens. "Gods law" will be enforced when the time comes, but here on earth people should be allowed to do whatever they please, so long as their actions dont directly, unwantingly, and negatively affect someone elses rights.

-taxes are necessary to pay for the functioning of the government, and since it would not be right to strap the poor and middle class with heavy taxes, the bulk of tax revenue should come from the super rich corporations who do most of the business in our economy anyways.

-capitalism is a nice economic theory that allows for a great amount of individual freedom in the market. but capitalism left unchecked is not a workable theory, and the original idea of how capitalism shoudl work in a free market is flawed. regulations must be in place in order for any economy to run stable and allow equality among the citizens.

Coach is a cool dude.

At the end of the day, all the democrats and republicans sit in one giant room trying to figure out how to get rich. All that other shit is a show for the people. They all have their hands in eachothers pockets. With that in mind, who can take politics serious?  ::)

Shockwave that was an excellent owning of Cooch although it wasn't intended to be.
I never hated Cooch but ever since President Obama was elected he's turned into a total fucking nutcase and it consumes his every thought.  Naturally some of us aren't gonna take shit from someone talking PERSONAL shit about our president fucked up or not.
I explained that to this needledick a week or so ago in a post.

Now it seems his new item of interest is racism which is more of an epic fail than his politics...He's arguing about the black panthers when everyone on the other side is agreeing they're pieces of shit.  Then he  really reaches and tries to make a connection to the  Obama administration or the President himself.
Then I refer to the racist memebers of the tea party movement and refer to them as crackers, (you know the same way the 80% of getbig refers to a bad black person as a guy) and he meltsdown and tells me how thats as racist as calling a black peson the a guy...At that moment I knew he was lost cause anyone with a 1/4 of a brain knows thats not true and Cooch would never go on record saying that. According to him it's all in how it's percieved... ::)

While I respect Cooch in his other endeavors, he's horrible at expressiving himself and took the bait everytime I threw it out there and worked off raw emotion, rather than logic.  Oh yeah, and deep down he knows I'll choke his old ass out military training style :D

enough nut hugging.  Good riddance to your gibberish.

The first step to recovery is admitting that Bush was/is a coc ksucker who fucked this country worst in 8 years than anyone else ever could.

Obama was handed a bag of shit to run and all he did was add more shit because what bush created may take 5 presidencies to fix.

And please admit that if McCain and Palin were running this country we'd be fucked beyond belief and China would own us...which they already sort of do.

do you really want to get into this discussion again?  ;D

i doubt you really want to get into this discussion, so instead heres a brief preview of what the discussion might start to look like, if we were to go there....  you can respond to it if you think its goin in a direction you want to pursue.. otherwise im not going to get deep into it because in order to get ideas across accurately, especially this one, it takes a long winded thoroughness that im just not ready for at the moment  ;D

"forget the fact that you dont believe in God, and realise that alot of the voters do. the only way to get them to understand that its isnt the gov's job to enforce God's will and to keep the people in accordance with moral codes is to make them realise that God created man with the free will to do whatever he may like, and that our governments shoudl mirror Gods creation by allowing the same free will. God of course didnt institute any prisons for those people who went around acting in ways that harmed others, so we have made some "improvements", but we should not try to limit peoples actions to only those sanctioned by God..."

that would be the beginning of one of my main points on the topic.. as i ask above.. sure u wanna get into this??  ;D

I'm somewhat shocked that people are surprised as to what is going on.   What did you expect?

In fact, they haven't seen anything yet.  Wait till all of these law changes (health care, taxes, finance regs, etc)  actually come into play.

We could not afford the entitlements we already had.  So what does Obama do?  He adds a new huge one.

We won't be in Iraq & Afghanistan forever.  But entitlements ARE forever.  We've never gotten rid of them, and as the politicians say in a nice moderated tone on Meet the Press, "It'll be catastrophic...."

Coach I really didnt intend for that post to come across to you the way it did, I was just trying to get you to understand that peoples brains turn off as soon as they see the word "Lib", "traitor" "marxist" etc, they simply dismiss you as a fox news puppett, so if you want people to take what you say seriously, you have to re-word it. I didnt mean to sound like a total dick. I save that shit for MuscleMcAnus. lol.

See, it's shit like this that makes me want to just tear this post apart word for word..........alas, I will refrain.

there is nothing to tear apart, and everything you would disagree with can be shown in a historical light to be, essentially, wrong.

A disequilibrium (supply side disequilibrium)brought on by unchecked (no regulation)big biz in the post progressive reform move era brought on the great depression.  Guess what, this happened again over the last 15 years or so, and look at our economy now.

Get an education, go skull fuck the biggest lie ever called "jesus," and rejoin the conversation.  You're a good guy, coach, and I would train with you any time, but there is no god, the economy needs regulation, and 99% of conservatives are scared, selfish people.  If you'd like to watch a lecture on the different brain wiring/chemistry of left wing/right wing people, go to TED.com (or youtube) and search brain chemistry, politics.  Very interesting stuff.
