I caught the episode last night. They had a segment at the end of the show about women's bodybuilding. I thought Colette was pretty well spoken which surprised me.
She mentioned that that Ms. Olympia gets $2,000 and third place gets $500 ?? WTF!
It was a good episode because they mentioned ALL PROS are on drugs and they went off to name the cocktail of shit they take winny, anavar, test...etc.
They mentioned how the MAIN source of revenue for women pros is muscle worship sessions with schmoes and actually showed a beast female bodybuilder wrestling and squeezing a schmoe. They tried to make a connection with women bodybuilders and perhaps a tumultuous childhood or traumatic experience at a young age and how they're compensating with steroids and bodybuilding for it now.

Yeah they called them athletes and I rolled my eyes.
They're fucking sideshow freaks. Colette was saying how she knew female competitors with clits the size of her pinkie finger. They were talking about how they get facial hair and deep voices...all side effects I forgot about.
Seriously can you imagine that shit? Why the fuck would you take male hormones that fuck with your body in those ways?

They played their hands , women ruined female bodybuilding so don't bitch and moan when the sponsors dried up and there is NO money for them sponsoring a contest.

The best thing they could do is to split from IFBB and do their own thing. The male competitors feel the bite too. They aren't ALL making a load of dough.
It would be smaller, but probably more profitable in the long run. The schmoe dollars would keep them afloat for centuries.

What a creepy organization. That photographer looks like the sleeziest man in the world with probably 50 restraining orders against him. That man woman, why the fuck is she always featured. She/he is the most extreme example of what is wrong with women's bodybuilding. I would hit it though with that tan chick. I find her quite interesting.
I did like how gumbel bodyslammed weider at the end how these chicks get ripped off but they made $400 million over that same time.

Bottom line...these women have nothing they do well and are usually ugly, with bbing...you take a ton of drugs and now you're a "professional athlete" and will be recognized. The "competing" side gives them a reason behind their hideous drug use, yet there really is zero meaning other than a drug problem. The old adage, "I take steroids to be the best or compete at what I do." Is a sorry excuse. Why pick something that requires no skill, then cop out on the..I do what I have to. Warriors!! At least men don't have to trade their gender, but still, very silly indeed. We all know you'll be the next Jay Cutler...uh, minus the genetics. More foolishness.

haha, Within a few minutes of watching the clip before, I see the other one (not Colette) at Gold's Gym. Everything that is wrong with "bodybuilding", right there. It's drug addiction, nothing more. Sad how many confuse their problem with some kind of achievement.

The open talk of the amount of drugs used along with a lack of any real testing looked bad along with the schmoe wrasslin'etc. The IFBB brass had to think this was horrible PR and exposed a lot of problems they wanted to keep under the rug.

With the IFBB, it's the elephant in the room. Besides, the clip's only viewers were the people that pay for the HBO channel that bothered to watch, some schmoes, and...well that's about it. So, it's a black eye that'll disappear quickly.
When the men of IFBB start singing in unison, that'll be something to see.

What a dream factory once again. If Yates had known back then that he was setting a standard that not only men but also women Bbers would pick up, he would have stuck with the Frank Zane look.

LOL! Like Yates would have made it in to the pro ranks at 185lbs ...he didnt have the genetics to be dominant under 230 pounds. BTW with all the stuff injected on her face, Colette's starting to look like a cartoon character..... she was pretty decent looking when she was Palumbo's chick though WOOOOSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
