Hartford Pro - Men's Open Battle - Ben White again?
« on: July 23, 2010, 11:14:55 PM »

While I am not there (since I am going to the NPC Los Angeles championships tomorrow), after tonight, it looks like it is a battle between Ben White and Ed Nunn for the title.   Some are rooting for Ed Nunn, saying he looks better than Ben White, while others think it is his game.

In third place, in looks like Troy Alves, although a few people insist he had a better please physique than Ed or Ben.

Johnnie Jackson, George Farah, Mike Liberatore in the top six too.

Nunn is the most impressive. White second and Libertore or Alves third.

Poor Troy can't catch a brake , a seasoned pro being beaten by all these new pros , Ben White might be on a tear

Structurally not really (he's no Paco but his structure is weird). Otherwise he always shows up with great conditioning and he's the only one in Hartford that doesn't have soft hams (no homo), hell look at Alves' legs. I think he should be top 3 or 4, definitely top 5.

its a complete shame what they are doing to mike K

structurally, eh.....he isnt the best

but his dryness, density, conditioning, and overall musculature is just awesome

he should be winning all these small shows.............time and time again he comes in perfect

this is why IFBB judging is such a joke.........how could you have a fridge like jay cutler as mr olympia

but a guy with similar structure.............bu t BETTER conditioning, symmetry, and balance isnt winning these small shows

if jay could be mr olympia with his structural flaws.............how the FUCK could mike K not be winning circuit shows.............it makes absolutely 0 sense

jay from the back looks like a gob of goo, this guy is fucking dry and etched to the max...........if your going to make this guy lose cause of structure.............ho w could jay be winning with hsi strucure...........almos t EVERYONE on the olympia stage has better structure then jay

everybody keeps saying "mike is great but he just does not have the best structure".................well that would make sense if they were not awarding jay with olympias

Just an excuse because noone seems to find any "real" flaws on him.
He destroyed everyone in the back shots, especially their skinny calves & hams.
His conditioning wasnt matched by anyone..

so what was the attendance for this show?   Did all those bodybuilding fans in Manhattan jump in their cars and make the short drive to Hartford as someone suggested they would?

I'm sure they were. I go there to see friends I know compete. More local people will go to support friends/family any day of the week, and that place is pretty small
