Nope. It's because their minds don't limit their ability, like children, like animals (say chimps for example). When you and I hit somebody, we think, "I am going to hit them", you are not thinking about putting them thru a wall or crush their skull. Kids and mentally handicapped people don't think like that, nor do they comprehend that acting a fool is wrong. So when they kirk out, they are dangerous. Same principle goes to seeing the paranormal. Children will see things adults don't, because their minds have not been trained to close those things out.
What we see with mentally handicapped people actually can help normal people unlock strength in normal people, it's all in the mind, and how we limit ourselves. Imagine, a retarded person showing you the untapped brain power and strength you have. Ironic, huh?
