Aleksander Emelianenko, the younger brother of Fedor, has long had a reputation for bad-assery. The Raphael to Fedor's Leonardo, if you will. From his rumored russian mob connections, spending five years in prison, and even a story of him hunting a bear with a knife, needless to say; the man is legendary.

This story comes to us by way of Middle Easy, and truthfully, after years of reading about Aleks' well chronicled tirades, I didn't even bat an eyelash when I heard he tried to take on a bull.

via Middle Easy:

"It looks like during a Russian game-show called 'Big Races' (which is shot in France), Aleksander Emelianenko participated in a competition with a bull to see if he was more of a 'beast' than an actual beast. Not sure on the exact details of the contest, but from what I understand, it involved a no-rules match that somehow included urine."

"In the end of the competition, the bull stepped on Aleksander's face and knocked out two of his teeth. From the reports, the studio was literally filled with blood and Alek was rushed to a local French hospital to insert his two teeth which he apparently picked up after the incident. Keep in mind, this is the same guy who hunts bears with knives."

I used to get the Russian equivalent to 'Fear Factor' on one of my local public access channels. After seeing contestants strung up by a chain and beaten with a pipe until saying uncle, It seems like Russia is the emerging frontrunner for forward-thinking reality TV opportunities.
