Derek Farnsworth - strongest squater pound for pound?

Is Derek Farnsworth the strongest pound for pound squater of all time? Someone told me he did close to 900 pounds at a weight well under 200 pounds.

Derek F has some of the strongest legs around for his size. Could never get his upper body to match.

Very strong competitor for his size, but being a Lightweight does not give him a great advantage in the pro's against much heavier, bigger and more muscular competitors.

In Powerlifting, the greatest pound for pound squat I can think of, is Inaba of Japan. 535 @ 114lbs.

I don't believe 900 for a full squat from Farnsworth.

800 full squat is on vid, it was posted on here a few yrs back. Remember dude is 4'11.

Men's Raw(belt, no knee wraps)-

198 688 Tony Fratto USA 1974 AAU* .

Mens Raw(with Wraps)-

198 749 Tony Fratto USA 1972 AAU*


Drug Tested(with or without knee wraps)-

198 655 David Ricks USA 2010 RUPC

The best raw totals in the #198 class are low #1800's spread across 3 lifts. Assuming he could pull and push a decent number, he'd be top 3 at most meets in the country. Does anyone believe that?

I take it that Derek won the pound for pound powerlifting contest at the O. I saw a pic of him and Pete with Derek holding his award. Does anybody know his lifts and other results?

I'll have to look up the rest of the lifts...quite impressive

I did 405 x 24 and by no means do I consider it very impressive... wtf ???

5'2-5'3  180 

One strong MoFo....without question. Pistol Pete wasnt too shabby either....as for Ben Pak, he kicked out 10 reps with 600 lbs, full squat
