WOW, thats in sane

i dont knwo what they are doing to that kid, but that is not nature

isnt that the myostatin deficient kid? if so, it is nature - a freak of nature, a mutation, but nature none the less.

unless it were engineered by doctor/parents.

From the ABC article:

Many substances in the body can control muscle growth, but in 1997, Johns Hopkins University researchers discovered a gene and a protein called myostatin, first in mice, then in a breed of muscular cattle called the Belgian Blue.

"It's one of the reasons why I don't look like Arnold Schwarzenegger," said Dominic Wells, a professor who studies myostatin at Imperial College London.

That and maybe drinking beer instead of milk..  ::)

Here's my take on "child prodigies"

I once heard of a 6 year old chinese girl playing the classical guitar that could rival Segovia.  I figured by the time she's an adult she'll be famous.  She was, at the time I heard of her, already 26 years old...never heard of her, she never did shit in the music industry.

This kid is jacked no doubt.  Does that mean anything? No.  Ronnie Coleman did not look like that at age 6 and he became the greatest ever.

Being a child prodigy in my book means nothing.

They're out there I'm sure. A guy in my high school was doing 315 for reps on incline. I thought I was strong with 275 for reps on flat.

Another example of a what happens in shitholes like Romania where people are ready to put their kid's health at risk to make ends meet.

In college he was getting about 500 but I think he maxed out there. Mind you I haven't spoken to him in years. Just a big, dumb country hick. :D

maybe he's one of those "myostatin deficient" kids who will "oneday be the best"

let me tell you about myostatin deficiencies, Flex Wheeler was rumored to have one, and he was one of the smallest pros on the olympia stage.
