Athlete, cons: Living a life of crime at your job (AAS, corruption, illegal gambling, fixed results) and outside the job (drugs, alcohol, violence, rape), retirement before 30, no-one will take you seriously and only see your sporting achievements, living a life of a cripple after 30, death before 50, overblown ego among many other things.

Athlete Cons - Blow $100 mill, after your sports career is over mostly likely you will be a sports broadcaster if lucky, sell cars or end up living out of your car...

I think it would be more interesting to compare model vs athlete vs bodybuilder on an amateur level because none of them really make  money off of their sport.

Obviously, its better to be a pro athlete compared to a model or pro bodybuilder because a lot of pro athletes make in the millions.
