There is a black bodybuilder that is in the movie Into the Blue. He is a henchman that keeps getting beat up in various boats. It's not Tyson Beckford's character.

I've wonder who it was, I thought it was a local Caribbean competitor...

Its Earl Maynard he was in the movie The Deep, now making a come back.

Not the same guy as the one in, "Into the Blue."  Though glad you pointed out Maynard...he was Morgan the Pirate in one of my favority cheesy 80's sword and sorcery movies titled, appropriately, The Sword and the Sorceror.  Especially love this scene with a nude Kathleen Beller.

Yup, that's him. Clifford Mcintosh...
Dude played a good henchman--he got his ass handed to him.
