Back when I was 300 Lbs someone told me he worked with a guy who was much bigger, at 7", 440 Lbs.  ::) There must be some special place where they hide these giants who are bigger than pro strongmen.

his colleague was obviously none other than Dominic Filiou, canadian strongman!

We had a guy in our gym years ago, that had 19 inch arms. Now that doesn't sound all that crazy, but to see the man in the flesh, would just put you over the edge. He had the most impressive pipes in our gym. There were guys in our gym with 20 inch plus arms.....but not with the impressiveness of the man with 19 inch arms.

I think big is a misleading term......case in point.....how many bouncers are considered big? All of them, right? They are all 5'10-6'0 and at least 220-230. Some are even bigger.....6'4 300 plus pounds......but you take a world class bodybuilder like Flex or Shawn and you put them up against the bouncer......Flex and Shawn win every time..... Shape can give the illusion of mind boggeling size......just my 2 cents.

Translation = a smaller muscular arm is way more impressive than a fat bigger arm.  Duh!

everybody thinks they re big until they meet someone bigger than them.
then all their little world is shattered into pieces and they will never be the same again. This is why people should fulfil themselves thru their intelectual  and working skills instead of their physique. This way you ll always be satisfied.

You know, I'm sick and fucking tired of how certain people generalize what "big" is. My point, I'm 5'7 (yeah, I know.....laugh it up.....I'm short and it just is what it is) but I am around 205 and at about 8% bf. Here is what pisses me off though. This toolbox ass clown at my gym was recently saying how he has a friend who is as "big as me" (and blah, blah blah.). Well, I meet this friend of his the other day and he is probably 5'10 (much taller than me) and can't weigh more than 190 or so. I'll say, he was in great shape and did train hard, but huge he was not. What constitutes being "big" to you? Is it height, size or a combination of both? To me it's the amount of mass you carry comparitive to your height.

BOOLFUCKINGSHIT!  If you are 5'7" yet 205 with only 8% fat then you can compete in the Mr. Olympia under 202.  What a fucking liar

look at the pic i posted dipshit. i was 195 there and was actually 206 today so go fuck yourself. some of us on here actually train our asses off and eat rather than just post on bodybuilding forums. it's a lifestyle not an internet hobby for me.

You just need to be tall and fat
pure non trained barrel body
Wide hips wide ribcage
creates much more room for water and fat storage that gives an extra 40lbs edge.

Not short and fat or tall and ripped.
Even a ripped Ronnie gets dwarfed by a tall fat girl.

Height, water and fat is the formula.

when this pic was taken my arm was probably around 19" .  if Vince stood on stage that day his arms would look 21" because of the size of his joints, bone etc. in a t-shirt i look bigger than him, but if i was beside him onstage that day he would dwarf me and look 30 pounds heavier.

no actually.  my arms were physically larger than Vince' arms.  but they would look smaller on stage due to the small joints and insertions on Vince.  now in this pic with Dorian i was closer to the camera.
