Why do you say that? I was never a particularly big fan of either of them, except the fact that they were so terrible that it was awesome. It doesnt change the fact that Nirvana fucking sucked.

You seem to be bitter because of three people who changed the culture of music.  Nirvana's songs are so simple but had a great tone.

Here. These guys are decent musicians (not outstanding) and they can write songs.
Nirvana just cashed in on people being sick of manufactured Metal. Thats all it was, right place, right time. People all over the place worship them like theyre gods of music.
Maybe its because Im from Seattle area and up there all you hear is Nirvana Nirvana Nirvana.

I liked early Metallica but now they sound like trash and it is just shitty.  I had to go watch them play and it was horrible. I like Nirvana and alot of people do and it is worthless trying to argue who has sold more albums, made more money or impacted people's lives. You like what you like and that is great! I love BUSH and have seen them over 30 times live.  I have seen Blink-182, Red Hot Chili Peppers, +44, Staind, Foo Fighters, Local H, Oasis, Angels and Airwaves,..etc Just whatever you find is Copacetic bro.

I dont understand why people constantly try to argue that Nirvana were good musicians? You like theyre music, thats fine, but everyone wants to try and convince me how they are gods and OMG theyre so talented OMG. Maybe thats why im so biased. I grew up 60 miles north of Seattle and all I heard everyday was how awesome Nirvana was and OMG theyre so talented and OMG best guitar players ever. Thats what I dont understand.
I could play Nirvana's music note for note within a day of picking up a guitar.

I agree with your opinion. I spent alot of time around Atlanta and Detroit when Eminem were first coming out and i literally hated that shit. All i ever heard was, "Eminem is the greatest rapper ever and will be the savior of Detroit." ARE YOU SERIOUS?? I get that. If i had to here the same shit all the time, i really could pick any guitar of mine and play their stuff. Nirvana's songs were very "poppy" and are very simple to play.  The only song that i had to look at a book was Nirvana, "Hairspray Queen". Good song but very tough to play.
