If Sonnen makes it out of round 1, I think he may be able to take the fight the distance and frustrate Silva, although I doubt under any circumstances he will win (except by DQ if Silva decides to soccer kick him in the face or groin). I don't think much of Fitch as a fighter, I think Alves is going to run right through him this time around. Guida will have another typical ugly, 1 inch elbows from the mount but unable to finish the fight victory. Hughes will outclass Almedia. Nelson is my upset special-- He's too big, too strong, has too good a chin, carries knockout power and a better ground game.

I went to the gym yesterday for my Wed boxing class, only to find a media circus going on.  All of the fighters for Saturdays card where there doing open workouts and interacting with fans.  Chael looked like shit.  He said he was fighting a stomach bug.  Anderson looked relaxed and brought some of the kids into the octagon to show them some moves.  JDS looked really caught up with the crowd and seemed real interested in basking in the attention.  Nelson pulled out his blob belly for people to take pics.  Like I said....a circus.
