The fact is that those nukes put a swift end to the war. It SAVED, yes SAVED hundreds of thousands of American lives as well as Japanese...and other allied countries by not having to set foot on their mainland and fight for god knows how long.

The bombs were dropped on two places with absolutely no military activity present in them
The fact is the americans murdered many thousands of innocent people and children
They are doing the same thing to a lesser extent in Iraq

I think the Jap should apologise for their occupation on China and the South East Asia, especially Malaysia.. My grandparents suffered  during the Japanese terrorist occupied the land.

The US just did the world a huge favour for that nuke... Could say that it's a partnership with Malaysia.

The only thing missing now is dropping a few more in Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan.

The Japanese had a nuclear weapons programme as well but they lacked uranium. Before Germany collapsed they sent materials by submarine, which if it had arrived would have given Japan the ability to produce a crude atomic bomb or a 'dirty' bomb. Some parts for their jet fighter programme were also on the submarine.
Luckily the submarine surrendered to the Allies in the Atlantic after Germany surrendered.
They had plans to use the bombs on US coastal cities.
