It's Finally time tomorrow for the UFC 117.
Card is Stacked which is easy to forget considiring Chael being the king promoter that he is.
Jon Fitch vs. Thiago Alves:
Both top condenders and this fight is a long fight in the making which will finally happen.
Thiago alves has looked outstanding recently despite his loss against GSP. And Fitch is no dummy.
Matt Hughes vs. Ricardo Almeida:
After killing dem gracies Matt "the gracie killer" fights almedia which was in renzos gracie's corner when renzo got smashed and wants bring back the "honor" and beat the peprson that smashed his coach.
Imo Hughes has been looking like Shit for a few years now and I thought he looked bad against Gracie it was just that fact that Gracie looked even worse.
So if Almeida beats him hopefully its the end and everyone else sees it. Used to be amazing.
Roy Nelson vs. Junior dos Santos:
This is a great match also becuse the winner of This fight will face Brock Lesnar.
Roy nelson not too long ago was hated and DAna talked so much shit about him. When he finally arrives in the UFC "for real"
he proves alot of folks wrong including Dana that he can actually KO people also. And not just smother them.
JDS to some is the best fighter in the ufc right now and has shown amazing skill and talent in his last few fights
Finishing his last 5 ouf of 6 fights with either KO or TKO and all in the first rond. (except the sub win)
Roy will be looking to take JDS down as fast as possible or his head might be knocked off. JDS is a brown belt BJJ also whiche he hasn't had to show off yet. But probably is going to have to against Roy. Roy is ofc amazing on the ground. Including the art of smothering lol. So lets see how jds stacks up on dat ground.
Clay Guida vs. Rafael dos Anjos:
Dont know much about this fight but Clay is Always fun to watch. Has one of the most insane staminas in the ufc. ALWAYS goes forward like crazy.
So its gonna be a blast either way.
And then big One
Anderson Silva vs. Chael Sonnen:
Chael has single handedly taken "trash talking" to a WHOLE new level with this one and imo its fucking hillarious.
Dont get me wrong because I would always want to see Anderson fight but after his last performance the interest kinda died for alot of people
but all this hype has made it all Come back.
Will Silva dance around again acting like a douche and after that get fired (as dana promised before)
Of will he take it to Chael right away and prove hes the No.1 pound for pound fighter in the world?
We all know he has the potential but will be show it? thats the question.
He danced around in hia last fight because maia had disrespected him so he thought he would make him look like a fool but instead made Himself look like one.
Will we finally see the Andersson Silva that actually shows his talent and does what he does best?
Chael in the other hand is a great wrestler and if anyone remember the Silva vs Henderson fight andersson were actually in trouble for a while. Why? because hendersson is a great wrestler and so is Chael.
So if 1+1 doesnt equal 2 anymore And Chael takes silva down and controls him and manages to pull out a win somehow. The universe might explode.
I have a haard time seeing that happen. But honestly all the talking Chael has been doing put a Little hope somewhere in your mind that there will be an upset. And thats just proof that Chael is amazing at what he does.
I would say that probably Anderson almost kills him right away and really puts out a clear statement.
But you never know For Sure do you...
Silva has been playing it cool and not lashing back etc but the staredown at the preff conferense was INTENSE lol. So there might be a first ufc murder.
