Steele: Pelosi 'in the back of the bus'
« on: August 08, 2010, 09:00:46 PM »
Sometimes I wonder if Steele is the best man to stand for GOP ideals and motivate party members to donate...

Republican National Committee chairman Michael Steele, wearing a red baseball cap emblazoned with the words "Fire Pelosi," invited Republicans to join him on a "Fire Nancy Pelosi bus tour" Friday.

During remarks at the summer meeting of the RNC in Kansas City, Steele announced that the 6-week tour would commence after Labor Day.

Rallying the GOP to win in November and urging supporters to "get on the bus," Steele capped off his call to action by predicting that "Nancy Pelosi will be in the back of the bus."

GOP cash woes threaten fall gains

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Republican National Committee is entering the fall election season with dire financial problems and, to an unprecedented degree, will be forced to rely on outside groups to fund activities traditionally paid for by the national party

With $11 million on hand at the end of June — and about $2 million in reported debt — the RNC’s paid get-out-the-vote (GOTV) effort will be limited to just targeted House races, POLITICO has learned.

And the committee is only going to be able to spend money on those relatively inexpensive House races, thanks to a $10 million line of credit that was approved at the meeting here. Until then, said one incredulous Republican, there was no money available for paid GOTV activities like mailers and automated phone calls.

What is wrong with this saying?Does it compare to Obama saying "the white mans greed runs a world in need"?I see your racial ears get perked up when its a republican but you go deaf when its a filthy black piece of crap like Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson or Rev. Wright/Obama.

Pelosi would be better off if she were run over by a bus.

LOL. Her rubbery face makes it seem like she already has been.

Seriously, though, Stelle needs to close his skull. He'll never be fired, though; the GOP would be accused of racism if they gave him the axe.

Billy & 33,

Do you think Steele gives the repubs the best chance to raise a lot of money (which will lead to more wins in november)?

Or do you think his behavior and quotes aren't helping?  GOP should be KILLING the Dems on fundraising.

I think people are tapped out and sick of both parties at this point.  Steele is no less a clown than your hero.

Steele is an incompetant idiot, not because he makes these statements all the time, but because HE SUCKS at raising money!Ive said for months he should be fired.I want the head of the RNC to raise money and shut his f'n mouth, stay off television. The only job they have is to raise cash!

BUT for libs to get upset that he used the term back of the bus is amusing when the leader of their party sat in a church and listended to a sawed off runt preach black liberation.

Steele is a fucktard that should have his mouth duct taped by the GOP if they knew what was best for them.
