Live in south Florida (Palm Beach Gardens) love it! ...been to Orlando (wasn't impressed to "touristy")
imo best parts of Florida are The Keys and South Florida (Boca Raton,Juno Beach,Jupiter,Palm Beach Gardens,Delray Beach etc) im close to West Palm Beach but far enough away to enjoy the seclusion and beaches/boating (peanut island) etc
always something fun to do!

I got accepted into the University of Central Florida....

PHD in Industrial Engineering

I'm still waiting to hear from University of Miami... But I think I'm still gonna go with UCF unless Miami gives me an awesome scholarship!

Probably just going to stay there 2-3 years just to be done with the PHD, I work for a family business so its all good in regards to work!

The keys are the islands that stretch from miami/homestead down to key west. I stayed at islamorada, kinda in the middle. It was beautiful, way nicer than siesta key, where I used to go every weekend.

Might I suggest packing it all up and moving to Venice Beach where you would fit in with the rest of the bums. Hell you could live in a van outside Golds and nobody would blink an eye. Stop trying to take the souls of females and just be the bum you are. There's no shame in that as long as you don't hurt another soul

I got BOTH my undergrad AND Masters from GW... It was time for a change. UCF was a good choice because I know a lot of professors down there and our research will match up. There are a lot of reasons I'm choosing UCF, even if it looks sorta odd, but its for the best!

I already have a job as an executive and have no plans of leaving it, lets just think of the PHD as the icing on the cake, and more money down the line!

UCF over UM is not a wise choice. Please see below:

Orlando is like a third world country compared to Coral Gables.
UCF Football is like watching the special olympics............At Miami you get to watch the most skilled felons on turf.
UM is a private school with great facilities (gym, intramural fields, research facilities, etc).
UM has lots of rich Jew broads...........w/ low self esteem.

After 13 yrs there, I moved out and moved back to the Northeast

I lived in Miami, Tallahassee and Tampa.

Weather - I missed the 4 seasons......2 seasons in Fl just doesn't cut it

School systems stink (if you have kids) ranked 48 out 50 states

#2 worst housing market behind Cali........

Everytime you hear about abduction, pediphilia etc...9/10 times it comes out of Florida

I hated waking up every morning and having to feed the Gators

Depending on where I was, I felt my IQ dropping by the minute...

Only positive....no state tax!

UCF is a good school in Orlando. the closest beach to you will be daytona beach, 40 minutes. I love it there back then. you can drive on the beach. the other beach is CoCo beach which is an Hour from Orlando. coco beach is known for it's great surf. watch out for the bull sharks...hahahahaah

vegas now till jan. then back to hawaii till june then back to vegas

i lived for month in st pete. when i played ball, then ft lauderdale at the days inn for about 2+ months and ft. meyers for about two months. it was like vacation everyday. hawaii is still best though
