Who's from Florida? I'm moving!

After 13 yrs there, I moved out and moved back to the Northeast

I lived in Miami, Tallahassee and Tampa.

Weather - I missed the 4 seasons......2 seasons in Fl just doesn't cut it

School systems stink (if you have kids) ranked 48 out 50 states

#2 worst housing market behind Cali........

Everytime you hear about abduction, pediphilia etc...9/10 times it comes out of Florida

I hated waking up every morning and having to feed the Gators

Depending on where I was, I felt my IQ dropping by the minute...

Only positive....no state tax!

This place is bad for sex offenders and i seen one kid that stood outside with his dog for over a hour. I remember eating and chatting with friends and we ended up calling the cops and they forgot their son was outside and it was like 95 degrees. I mean who in the hell leaves their young kid outside while eating inside.

Well I'm not really worried about being sexually assaulted lol...  and like I said its only for a few years, I don't have kids so its not an issue

Man all this talk about Florida makes me want to get there right now.  My daughter told me her and a couple friends are planning a trip to Disney World in Orlando for next summer to take all the kids.  I think I may tag along.  I doubt (in fact know) I won't have as fun a time as I did years ago but I am hoping it will still be fun.  Ft. Lauderdale was the funniest.  Back then they had the Candy Store which had a wet t-shirt contest every night for $500.  I judged many of those.  They had that belly-flop contest every year too.  It was a blast.  Shooters and Chrome Parrot and City Limits were awesome.  Had a party on a really nice yacht called Monkey Business.  We pulled up to Shooters and they valet park your yacht for you.  I thought that was cool.  Had a cigarette boat at my disposal too.  It was called the Green Monster (or Machine).  Had a blast in that thing.  The weather is awesome too.  I really love Florida.

I was born and raised in north east Florida. Little area a bit north of Jacksonville but right on the border of Georgia. Been all over the world and couldn't wait to get back. Love this place.

im thinkn about going to florida or mexico for the winter months,canada winters(boo)

which places are better,isnt cheap in both,i was thinking peurta vallarta and dont know where in florida

I loved living right outside of Orlando and I am not done yet probably moving back in another few years....
