I'm my opinion both at their peaks ronnies arms were just as full and maybe even rounder than flex check cost of redemption ronnies were also bigger and harder . Flex biceps in particular looks soft .... Si ronnie had better arms better delta better chest better back better legs.... No contest flex just had BIG ARMS FIR HIS FRAME

Flex had better, fuller, rounder and more striated triceps. Flex's early competitive yrs his arms were hard...as you said check cost of redemption, check Flex's Hardbody vid when he's training arms, or check Mass Construction where he is training arms. Exactly, Flex had big arms for his frame, he was naturally skinny, even though he and Ronnie were about the same height.

Yes, Ronnie's arms were bigger, possibly harder, and def more vascular, Flex didn't have veins running all over the place. But, when in shape, Flex's arms almost looked like a full circle in a biceps pose. It was a matter of 67 Mustang vs 67 Camaro--brutal versus finesse.
Here is Flex at the 1993 Mr. O, he was about 218 here. Notice the fuller tris and the fullness of the bis as well.

No where near the structural attributes Flex has and while he has huge, thick traps and chest, he doesn't nearly flow as nicely as Flex did. Forget about the freaky striations Flex had in his quads and triceps, huge bicep peaks and crazy detail in his back.

If you want to compare him to someone, Try Cormier for the powerful thickness he displays. His lines and shape aren't what he's known for. Flex was worshiped for this and that pic shows why. Cedric is not in Flex's league. You guys need to learn something about shape, aesthetics and structure. Just because Cedric is decent in this area doesn't warrant comparing him to Flex. Please.

Shape wise, yes he does, just like Melvin Anthony does, and Jojo Ntiforo. In terms of 1992-1993 Flex Wheeler, he lacks the crispness and "pop" and detail that Flex had. Flex was Brian Buchanan with legs. Melvin was Flex with a better taper, but less refinement and detail. Jojo, well, Jojo had the potential to be a Brian Buchanan throwback.

Dude, that's really reaching, just like people trying to compare stumpy Melvin to Flex. I guess we're desperate for a new hero.

Then exceptional back detail. And the one telling attribute that Flex and Melvin shared, that Cedric might share---a bigg ass that is hard to diet down. Flex and Mevlin both had a hard time with the lower back-glute-ham tie in. Flex only looked good at a lower weight because of this. Out of Brian, Flex, Melvin, Cedric, Jojo, Flex had the better "polished" physique. Brian had the most extreme waist taper. But, since Jojo is straight from Ghana, one could say that the ethnic group that he's from produces these types of physiques.

Similar is not the "same", Melvin was seen as the next Flex, and if you views his video where he won his pro card and he was about 228, he looked very much like Flex, albeit a poor man's version. Him being shorter, meant he would have a smaller waist, which he did. His big head makes him stumpy...

Right now, there is no one close to Flex, Cedric just is fresh face, that again is similar, just like Phil is a combo of Flex and Kev. Hell, Flex couldn't even duplicate his 93 look.

Flex's arms were fuller with a good peak and Ronnies harder with a better peak, but overall not as full

If that Cedric pic wasn't done from such a low angle, you'd see what I'm talking about. Start from the waist up...look at the taper, that triangle. Yes, I know V Taper, but right now Im using "triangle. Even though Flex had less than stellar lats, when he'd do a double biceps pose, you'd see the almost triangular shape.
The guys in the "Flex" mold had a unique shape in which the the triangle or V taper is far more prominant. Cedric is a tall and big dude, like Ed Nunn, who again has the similar physique...Ed just needs more lats.

Now, go to the arms, look similar in that shot, but the way the triceps stand out in terms of shape when relaxed at the sides are telling. Some, like Flex's, Phil's, Cedric's pop out the sides when relaxed, others only pop out when flexed.

Cedric is a like a Chrysler 300, while Flex is like a 300 C with all the modifications and "pop." Don't mind that comparison -- first thing that came to mind.

Yes, Fouad also. I think he's better than fellow Canadian Pakulski although ben is freakier. I think Fouad's physique is more admirable and flows better with less holes in it so to speak.
