What was your favorite/least fav Summerslam?

With the ppv on Sunday in mind, which shows have you liked best? Which ones sucked or are overrated? My favorites are 88,98, and 02. IMO 92 is way overrated. With the exception of Bret-Davey and the atmosphere, the rest of the show sucked. Probably my favorite part of the show... ;D

I liked Sumerslam:

1988 Mega Powers vs Mega Bucks
1989 Hogan & Beefcake vs Macho Man & Zues
1990 Hogan vs Earthquake / Warrior vs Rick Rude in a cage Double main event
1992 Bulldog vs Bret Hart (stole the show)
2005 Hogan vs Michaels

I hated the Undertaker vs the Undertaker thing...

Yes! That was brutal. 95 was terrible too. Nash v Mabel, Bret Hart v Isacc Yankem, Barry Horowitz vs Skip

That was the era when they were still recovering from loss of talent to rival WCW and the sex and steroid scandals. 3000 max crowds unless it was a ppv.

I'd go with SummerSlam '89, '90, '91, and '96, as my favorites.

Least favorite: '93, '95 (except for Michaels/Razor rematch).

No one likes Summerslam 2002?


Triple HHH vs. Shawn Michaels in the unsanctioned street fight? Awesome match. Triple HHH was jacked out of mind on roids. He was huge!

Rock versus Brock in the main event?

Anyway, 2002 Summerslam sticks out for me. I enjoyed the entire card from top to bottom.

My cousin got a frisbee from him at the old Boston Garden. He seems like a grounded guy in his shoot interviews and very underrated. Plus, he uses a gazelle.
