if you wanna put on size, carbs before and after your workout is a good idea. if you had a whole bunch of carbs before your workout then its not as important to have them after.. your glycogen and insulin levels are still probably elevated. most people like to keep their pre workout meals pretty light becaquse a big meal or bgi carb load can make some people lazy, not able to work out as hard. for that reason they would take carbs after as well.
