Essa deserved the win, Cedric's conditioning wasn't 100% on but his height and structure make him stand out. Kef was the most conditioned.
Alvisi 2nd was bunk.

One of the biggest let downs was Brandon Curry - all the hype and 2 years of prep to not even place in the top 5.

Hope he doesn't turn out to be yet another guy who skates on his potential without putting some solid work in to capitalise upon it.

Its always difficult to compare physiques from photos alone - although the every lasting debate on who was better Dorian or Ronnie relies solely on them - but Brandon deserved a higher placing than he was awarded.

Call outs are just a general assessment of who they THINK might be in the top 3, etc...some guys fade, others get sharper, still others project themselves as they are compared and it becomes apparent that maybe they're better than someone who was called out before them....Gustavo worked himself up from 8/9th to the top 3 a few years ago at the Ironman...

Looking at the score sheet from the Europa the placings from 6 down were set in stone after the prejudging and those physiques were not judged in the evening show.
