LOL.."Clear winners"..look at these threads and youll see all the "experts" after the show cant even agree on one set of placings...it's no differnt for the judges, as there were different physiques and different opinions as to where they placed...

If Gaspari had such a lock on the placings, why did Ava Cowan place out of the money?

Here is a question I think I can answer for you Chick about Ave. Ava dosen't have to win any show to sell products because she is so hot. She is like Jamie Eason who never even turned pro are competes any more, but she is all over the place. So Ava dosen't have to compete in the O. Gaspari needs a male BB to compete in the O. Flex Lewis is out and HIde? So he needed Mark. Who knows just rambling.

Cedric is a better BB by far, IMO...but he was soft. And softer at finals, which cost him a place or two.  Judges were obviously rewarding conditioning over shape. Essa, Bill, Mark all were harder and more conditioned..

This is also the reason we changed the judgng criteria to make it so the finals count for something...In days past, a guy comes in shape in the PJ, then shows up glossed over at the night show, and people would be wondering how he placed so high...

Cedric has a nice career ahead of him..

Ava is a competitor, and wants to win...that said, she needs to learn how to pose better and relax...boardering on too hard

BTW, as far as I know, Hide is IN, as is Flex Lewis....

Gaspari doesnt "need" any of his athletes in the Olympia to sell more product...he's one of the top 4 supp companies in the game....

Than Essa? I don't agree. Essa has much more pop to him when he poses and freakier bodyparts and thinner skin. Overall he's more impressive than Cedric. Cedric is bigger with better shape maybe, but lacks the freak factor and really isn't overly impressive in his poses.

Thanks for the response. I just felt 2 places is huge, because he needed this to qualify for the O. Agree that Cedric has a better career than any of the other guys who placed ahead of him.

I doubt anyone had better conditioning than Kef on that show. If the judges were rewarding conditioning over shape so much how did he place 5th? (not even top 3).

Sure it would, as the judging rounds system should provide for one to move up (or down) throughout the prejudging....

But looking at the Europa judging sheets only the top 5 were judged in the evening- and only their positions changed.
So had this been one of the shows where the top 5 earned a place at the Olympia it would have been impossible for anyone not in the top 5 after prejudging to move up in the evening.

It wasnt a show where top 5 were qualifying, it was top 3....I've suggested that the judges bring top 6-7 out at shows where top 5 qualify, as anyone with a mathematical chance should be included...so thta number could be 5, 6, and maybe 7.

Because ALL factors are considered...including that he gets dwarfed on stage and he's up and down with a waist he has to control better...while conditioning may have been ONE of the points they focused on, it wasnt the only factor...

Dave Goodin was probably the most conditioned athlete in the 202, but didnt make the top 5....

ok...you are saying that the most conditioned guy in the open shouldn't get a top 3 spot but the 2nd most conditioned guy should get one because his sponsor benefits from him qualifying for the O.  therefore...this is why goodin didnt get a top 3 in 202.  there isnt a board or commentator including your bud dave palumbo and his crew at rxmuscle that is buying into this.

Gustavo moved up in prejudging, as anyone can still do....not the night show, where you are correct, only making the finals can give you an opportunity to move up or down...If you're mathmatically in the hunt, you can be called out at the finals.
