It's a PS3 game and there is no campaign - you can only play it online.
I'm sure someone here has tried it by now.
im playing on the Pc, but it is the exact same game. the campaign as it were is the process of leveling to lvl 30, which is fast - probably no more than 20 total hours of playtime. you make your own character. it essentially goes like this -
1-gorilla grods henchmen are kidnapping people, go and kill them.
2-next, go and destroy the devices gorilla grods men were using to turn people to apes.
3-finally, fight your way through grods lair, then defeat him.
this basic process is repeated with escalating levels of villian (or heroes, if you decide to be on the villain side). its a fun game, the attacks are done sort of like the old street fighter games, with different button combos - and you have other power attacks, like fire, telepathy, etc, that also have different effects on enemies, like stunning them or reducing the damage they do. at max level you do group quests or player vs player arenas that let you earn better gear.
sometimes you fight along side a hero like flash or sauperman. the only time you actually play AS them is in a player verse player arena style matches.
