Yes, Cspan is honest journalism.

EVERYTHING ELSE has a slant on it.  I watched msnbc for a decade before I knew it.  When I started watching fox religiously, I realized "Wow, msn is full of shit on a lot of things".  They're some damn drama queens.

But I also realized FOX is some of the most exaggerative, crybaby, playing the victim d-bags aroudn as well.

LOL @ anyone who believes ANY of the networks (fox, msnbc, or cnn) are objective.   They're all political ENTERTAINMENT and ANALYSIS for people with certain political beliefs.  If you don't realize that, well...

I have not cable news in about two years and rely on the radio, internet, etc.  TV is mostly wortheless.

I think there is value in cable news.  I hear stuff there that I don't readily see on the internet or hear on the radio.  Getting the news from multiple sources is best IMO.

I agree most of what they show on TV is garbage.  I have 10,000 channels (no not really) and probably watch less than ten.

For that matter, most of what Hollywood puts out on the big screen is garbage.

I am surprised that Malkin wrote a book called, In Defense of Internment: The Case for Racial Profiling in World War II and the War on Terror (see http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0895260514/hotair06-20/ref=nosim)  If she had lived in the U.S. during WWII, she would have likely been interred, since the chance any white americans would be able to tell she is Phillipino rather than Japanese is unlikely.  If the terrorists against america today were primarily Asian, Malkin would likely be profiled and get checked every time she set foot in the airport.  (If for no other reason than she is hot and the security guys would want to frisk her thoroughly;-)

One of the things that's so absurd about this is your reference to her employment by Fox News.  As if employees of CNN and MSNBC employees are CT nuts.  They're not.  No serious journalist is.  She could be working for a local station in Mississippi and would still be calling this thing exactly what it is:  crazy.

True to an extent, if there is a plane crash or a bomb goes off somewhere, they all report it but if one of them puts a slant on the story, which MSNBC does on everything, that's when it turns into semi-fake news coverage.

The other thing, some of the news groups seem to choose not to report on certain stories, for instance, the beginning of the Tea Party movement, love it or hate it it's been a significant thing but in the early stages CNN, MSNBC and the 3 major news network refused to cover it with any real coverage.

One of the things I like about Fox is they seem to cover every story regardless of which side of the aisle or which side of public opinion it falls on.
