maybe its just me but id rather have -for day to day purposes-a car that is quiet, pumps out no fumes, requires virtually no maintainence, costs extremely little to fuel, is as fast and quick as i need it to be.

just fyi alot of these electric cars may have had a top speed limited to freeway speeds but in a 0-60 acceleration many could likely smoke that camaro there.

actually electric cars don't make any sound..so in theory the engineers can have it emit any sound that they want. So in closing it can sound like that, I predict that in the future versions you will be able to select and change the sound that your car makes.

If I were a parent in your school district, I would ask why this movie was on the curriculum in a class about physics.

Detroit and the worldwide car companies are just stupid and have had their heads in the sand.  We've known for over 40 years that our oil reserves are limited and will one day peter out.  How hard is it to push some new technology as a transitional buffer for the day when gas powered cars are no more?  They are as bad as the horse buggy manufacturers at the turn of the 20th century who felt that cars were just a passing fad.
