I'm glad to see I have some friends left here that notified me of this posts as well as the one on Alex's board because I may have very well missed it being preoccupied with other things at the moment. I guess the rumors are true that for as many times as his board has been hacked that our passwords are not safe there. That's what I look for in a friend and what I myself aspire to -- that they have your back and they look out for you.

We portray different personalities here at different times under different circumstances but after someone has been here a while, and it often takes longer for some than for others, you get a feel for the type of character and sense of honor they have.

I don't care a whit about the content of the implied accusation. It will only give fodder to people who dislike me and be ignored by those who hold me in a bit higher regard. And if it were done by Sev, Squad, pugalist666 .... I would probably just ignore it, laugh it off, or get into another GetBig slugfest. But it wouldn't really bother me. It's that someone whom I considered a friend would so quickly jump at the chance to discredit me. What does that say about you as a friend and as a man?

Well, I know Alex is not well liked by many people but I've never had any problems with him and he's a character that I really like and admire how much he's accomplished in life at such a young age. I also consider him a friend and put my trust in him until proven otherwise. The sole and only reason I go on that board is to support him (I spend too much time here as it is) but I have to admit that I am now very reluctant to go on that board if it's not safe.

Exactly. You can't extract someone's password (which is encrypted) from SMF's database even if you are the Admin, but you can edit someone's post even if you are the mod (as long as that permission has been granted by the Admin).

That post looks like it was edited. I saw one of NZ's posts edited too, a while ago. Because someone quoted him before it got edited and the quote sounded more like something he'd post than the edited one, which made it sound like he was confessing his being gay, lol.

Believe it or not, people can be friends and have very meaningful relationships without ever meeting in person. I believe Hazbin would not have been so unbelievably generous and gracious to you if he did not know you through this board.

Why? Mods on this board have the ability to change posts as well. I posted over there and changed a post as an example. It's part of having mod powers. Look at who is modding that area and ask yourself which one of them would change your post.....

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by buddies, but what I mean is that a person reflects a certain persona on this message board. Some you like some you don't. There are quite a handful of people that I would love to meet in person because I think we would get on well. Guys like chaos, noworries, JNN, SF, CalvinH, NaturalWonder, xhbit, DrChimps, Max_Rep, Yaroni, Parker, that Stuntmovie, VanB, kyomo, musclecenter.... the lists goes on.

Of course, it could all just be an act and they are something completely different in real life. I don't think so though.
