read 'the power of now'. most people ignore the present moment. they worry and stress about the future ( one of many possible futures, and usually not the real one) and dwell on the past (mistakes, missed opportunities, being cheated or decieved). this brain activity is a function of the 'ego', and it's purpose is to keep us from enjoying what we are doing right now.
