Ronnie ruined his legacy with his circus act and ugly physique. Didn't he place 4th in his last Olympia behind Dexter Jackson and Phil Heath?  Embarrassing.

He has no class like Haney or Yates.  He just wants a quick buck off his damaged, roided out body.

His left triceps is STILL fucked, that needs to be taken in consideration before any serious talk of a comeback. ::)

He looks like a parody of his former self. The fact that he still is making a pretty good living out of it explains it but is it a good reason enough to play the game. A good number of guys made a decent transition to bigger and better things. Not him it seems. The fact that he can't do anything else for a living doesn't really make him look like one of the smartest ex pros.

There was a thread on MD asking if Ronnie would compete again.  I think in light of his current condition, this is a reasonable question.  I would have to say he is still top 10 in the world in that form, if not better.  What do you guys think?

define decent transition.

because it seems to me if he is still enjoying what he is doing and making a shitload of money doing it, he is doing better than most other pros who have hung up the trunks.

I mean really, does he really need to push a crappy supplement line like Labrada or Dorian for people to think he is doing well after retiring?

fuck no.

I guess the only question in my mind would be whether or not the long-term usage of things he is taking are bad for his health or not.

He found his left Lat.

Looks like he put something in it i.e. oil. Why are the lats so uneven? Maybe Hulkster can explain.

For once, I'll agree with you. He might like what he's doing but that's a different question. Is to healthy to go down that road? High chances that it's not. Most reasonable people wouldn't take that risk I think specially ater such a succesfull run as a competitor. I don't know exactly how much Labrada's "crappy supplement" line is worth but from what I've heard it's no spare change. I'd take that any time over guest posing for dim witted gym nerds and schmoes.

I doubt the few extra years of roid use is going to make much of a difference.

the damage was already done long ago.

if you have been on roids for 20 years, doing them for 25 probably isn't going to help you.

its like the lifetime smokers who quit after 30 years.

their lungs are still fucked, many still get lung cancer, emphysema etc.

its too late already.

Dorian's waist looks amazing (no homo) despite his age (he's almost 50, 48 to be exact) and retirement from competition. You'd think that his big '97 waist would never go away but it now looks just about perfect.
Too bad Ronnie's waist(and abs) are still huge but let's not be that harsh, he's is great shape (at 46 years old!), great level of muscularity and conditioning, enough to make money from guest poses and appearances and sustain the "recent Mr. O" image. Competing again would be difficult though since some areas would be lacking.

This is why I know all the "bro-science" talk of enlarged organs is flat BULLSHIT.
If it was, Dorian would still have a monster gut.
Im sticking with my theory of visceral fat storage, and that they never diet long enough in there contest diets to get that fat off.
Theyre bulking diets puts the fat on around their organs, and when they diet they only diet long enough to get rid of the subcutaneous fat.
I believe Disgusted shares my theory also. Which makes me happy. lol.

I think Ronnie could be 90 years old and he will still have crazy arms, delts and pecs.

has there ever been a bodybuilder live to 90?
