Stallone was never above 165lbs in his prime
« on: August 23, 2010, 12:47:43 PM »
its an amazing ting this guy pulled off...considering he is 5-7 and his level of leanness there is no possible way he was any more than 160-165 in any rocky or rambo movie. he would be considered 'tiny' on getbig, and with clothed would probably look completely normal on the streets, yet he managed to successfully play the role of a Heavyweight boxing champion for like 6 movies as well as being commonly thought of as one of the biggest, toughest action heros around.

5-7 160-ish.

same with frank zane...listed as 5-9 (so that means probably 5'7 - 5-8)..never saw the upside of 175 lbs yet was a multitime mr olympia.

Not even close, that's called hollywood magic.. stallone wears lifts, there's tons of reports about people  saying he's 5'7 barefoot.. anybody can be 5'10 in 4" lifts

Honestly can anyone on here say they have actually met Sly.  And I don't mean you saw him across the floor at a club or restaurant.  I mean met him, talked to him, stood next to him, sat with him and talked.  Anyone on here.  I just can't see how people argue over this guys height and weight yet they have never met him.  Anyone can guess all they want.

so what is the truth? i thought you yourself has said many times on here that he wears lifts and everyone's first impressions were 'wow hes short!' or 'wow hes small!'

also is it safe to say that at the time you two met you would have been more than capable of pressing stallone over your head and throwing him though a window?

Unlike most of the people on here I have at least met him.  And I don't come on here and say how tall he is.  I do know he is shorter than me.  I would say by at least 4 to 5 inches.  And I am (or at least was) 6'1" (actually one line under).  So I would say 5'7".  Now he does wear lifts cause in the bathroom I saw them.  In all honesty I would have not even noticed her wore them.  With them on he was really close to my height where his eyes were just below mine.  He is very tiny in person (to at least me) I was even next to some girls who said when they saw him how small he was in person.  For over the top they used sand bags on the scale to make him weigh what they wanted.  I highly doubt he weighed 180.  I would say more like 170.  In that movie though I don't think he was as muscular as in other movies.  So he probably weighed more in those.  And when I met him I was in my strongest shape.  Nothing like the epitome of physiques like McAnusLicker

no he is NOT...........stallone is 5'5 and a half, 5'6 on a good day..........he made a career out of wearing custom made shoe-lifts

that picture, above, with him in venice with franco and arnold............if you see the full body shot. he is wearing custom made sneakers, with lifts

here is the photo..............those are the most obvious shoe lifts i have ever seen, notice how his foot is jacked up 2 or 3 inches within the shoe

Don't like the Arnold/Stallone comparison there two different. Stallone got medicore looks, small size, and medicore acting ability, he's very good hollywood badass. Arnold can't act at all, is good looking, is huge, and has three other successful careers on the side. Stallone got epic movies, Arnold got a epic life.

I wake up in the morning basically 5'9 bang on, sometimes maybe 5'9 and 1/5.  At night I shrink to around 5'8 and 1/2, sometimes a bit lower if I have been sitting at my computer all day.  I don't mind wearing a pair of shoes with chunkier heels [typically I just wear sneakers though to be honest], but I would never want to wear anything that results in such a drastic increase in height.  If someone sees me and thinks I am 5'10 due to footwear, that is fine, but could you imagine someone thinking I was 6'0 just to find out that I am 5'9?  It would be pretty deceitful in my opinion.  I would not ever wear shoes which offer that much of a height advantage.

Lol I know what you mean, could you imagine wearing a rubber muscle suit just to make you look bigger. People would think your nuts or atleast have a severe self esteem issues. Stallone has some very micheal jackson like qualities. He's in deal of being a midget, denial of his age, and will properly die of a heat attack in the next year or two.

An article from Copley News also reveals that an Italian shoemaker has a few secrets about stars and their heights. Regarding Sylvester Stallone he says: "I made him 4.5 inches taller for 16 years!"

even all his sneakers are custom made with built-in lifts............look the size of these, they look like moonboots
