Unlike most of the people on here I have at least met him.  And I don't come on here and say how tall he is.  I do know he is shorter than me.  I would say by at least 4 to 5 inches.  And I am (or at least was) 6'1" (actually one line under).  So I would say 5'7".  Now he does wear lifts cause in the bathroom I saw them.  In all honesty I would have not even noticed her wore them.  With them on he was really close to my height where his eyes were just below mine.  He is very tiny in person (to at least me) I was even next to some girls who said when they saw him how small he was in person.  For over the top they used sand bags on the scale to make him weigh what they wanted.  I highly doubt he weighed 180.  I would say more like 170.  In that movie though I don't think he was as muscular as in other movies.  So he probably weighed more in those.  And when I met him I was in my strongest shape.  Nothing like the epitome of physiques like McAnusLicker
wow in which year was this ?noworries :)

The guys a multi millionaire and probably banged more sluts than anybody on here, and probably has a better physique.Do u think he actually cares what you people think of his shoe lifts?  ::)
This is pretty interesting reasoning. He dosen't care what I think yet he still wears those shoes to appear taller. Hmmm maybe he just thinks there so comfortable.

I've always figured it was something he did for the job. In Hollywood image is everything and while he doesn't care what you or I think about him, he probably cared what the studio execs casting movies thought and tall is in..

I guess maybe your right. I never thought about it like that. I always thought he was rich famous and well connected in hollywood and got whatever role he wants.

If hollywood cared so much about the tall the pretty boys of the 80's and 90's wouldn't all have been under 5'9

tom cruise, brad pitt, sylvester stallone, jean claude van damme, antonio banderas, etc. etc.

right the fact of the matter is, everything in hollywood is an illusion........you can make sly look 7 feet tall if you want, depending on the angles you shoot him at, adn who yyou surround him with...........thats why it doesnt matter that most of them are short

That's a pretty selective list. Some are above average height and some are below. Your leaving out Arnold, Keanu reeves, Brendan frasier, Dicaprio, ben afleck, and the list goes on.

Musta been back when Sly rocked these:

those would make him 6 or 7 inches taller

like this custom made sneakers his is wearing in this photo, you can make shoes that quietly give you a solid 3 or 4 inches

just picture where his heel would be in those moonboots he calls sneakers........i drew a red line where his actual foot would be in those shoes

its an amazing ting this guy pulled off...considering he is 5-7 and his level of leanness there is no possible way he was any more than 160-165 in any rocky or rambo movie. he would be considered 'tiny' on getbig, and with clothed would probably look completely normal on the streets, yet he managed to successfully play the role of a Heavyweight boxing champion for like 6 movies as well as being commonly thought of as one of the biggest, toughest action heros around.

5-7 160-ish.

same with frank zane...listed as 5-9 (so that means probably 5'7 - 5-8)..never saw the upside of 175 lbs yet was a multitime mr olympia.

In reality he's never been over 5'8".... As for his weight, well, it's been all over the place. In Rocky I (mid 70's), he was bulked up quite a bit and was a legit 190... Rocky 2, even though he was billed at 200 pounds, he seemed to be in that 175-180 range. Rocky 3 he stated he went down from 170-175 to 155-160 pounds... For Copland, he went from 172 to 212 and for Rocky Balboa he went up to a legit 219 pounds... As for what he carried on average, it's in the 170-175 pound range...

I think he was probably heavier than ever in Lords of Flatbush

Exactly.

You'd think people would have better things to do in their lives than squabble over height, his weight and shoe lifts.

And Stallone wasn't ever aspiring to be bodybuilder or be the largest movie hero on screen.

I liked his films and he looked good in most of them.

Probably around 200 pounds in the early 70's.. He leaned out throughout the 1970's and by the new decade he looked completely different..

Not sure where you get this info.  When he is as ripped as he ever has been I highly doubt he was near 200.  219 is a joke right?  Have you ever seen him in person, stood next to him and seen with your own eyes how small he is.  The way you type I don't think so.  His joints are so small and his arms even when muscular are not more than 17" if that.  Sorry 219 is a number that just doesn't compute

I hope this pic is shopped. I was always impressed with him until I just saw this pic of his calves. Here I've always admired the guy's discipline and now I see he's like all these tools  at my gym that avoid calf machines like they were the plague. Damn I'm depressed.

You really ahve been around the movie crowd and done some stunt work and bit parts haven't you?
I respect that but sadly most of the wordly studs on get big, know so much more than a guy that walked the walk.
Post some more pics, I liked that one where you played a part in a gorilla suit?
