8/28 Beck vs. Obama

This Saturday at the Lincoln Memorial Glenn Beck is holding his 8/28 rally titled "Restoring Honor." The rally promises to possibly be one of the largest in American history, in Pittsburgh alone the first day bus tickets went on sell over 24,000 were sold in that city alone. However big it is there is no question, it'll be a ton of people.

The Obama White House is pretty miffed about this event and is participating in a counter rally led by Al Sharpton the same day. The administration is claiming Becks rally, which is being held on the anniversary of Martin Luther King's "I Have A Dream" speech is an attempt to hijack that meaningful speech and its place in history. Funny thing about that, some of MLK's family along with other prominent black religious leaders will be standing with Beck at the rally.

Along with Sharpton and the Obama admin, the "New Black Panther Party" will be part of the "Anti-Beck" Rally.

Now that you know what's happening do you not find it odd? Is it not something that would make you go hmm? The Beck rally is being billed as a non-political rally, they are asking people to leave their signs at home and to simply come and celebrate our founders, honoring our hero's and the importance of faith...OK, so I guess the Obama White House is against all that. Actually, I know they are but some people still can't see it or at least refuse to.

I'm betting Obama doesn't attend any rallies... he'd be smart to be out of the country dealing with some foreign issues at the time of this domestic drama between two extremist sides.

I seriously doubt Obama would be anywhere near either event but some of his administration will be, his own sec or edu. is already scheduled to speak at the Sharpton/Anti-Beck rally.

And "two extremist sides"...really? I really don't see how anyone could call the Restoring Honor rally extreme.

I gave Beck every benefit of the doubt a while back but when he started weeping like a baby on TV and called Ron Paul a "crazy" and the followers "terrorist" that was it for me. I'll listen to some of his guests but other than that the guy is a piece of shit opportunist that rides the coat tails of others when public opinion starts to sway that way.

Beck is like Jekyll & Hyde.    Sometimes he is really good when he exposes the corruption and many crimes of obama, the communists in the Admn and the politicians.

I dont like Beck much.I listen to his radio show because the guys on it are funny.But his attempts at Pentecostal preaching and end times prophesy is silly and stupid and amatureish.I have heard this for 40 years and from FAR better speakers then Beck.If your going to give end times sermons ,you better do it better then Beck does,He is no pentecostal preacher thats for sure.Frankly this whole doomsday preaching is so silly.America has huge deficits,but we are America,we can tell China to go fuck themselves and simply not pay it.America isnt going anywhere?

Yeah, I was laughing my ass off today hearing his routine today.   I'm sitting here working saying to myself "Dude, just keep exposing the commies in the Obama Admn, the economy, etc, or STFU"

I don't really see at as "True" end times preaching, I think it's just the seriousness of the situation we're in as a country. We're on the edge of a very penurious state right now, very vulnerable and being led by idiots.

As for the things Beck says that are of a religious nature, I've yet to hear him say anything that's outrageous, when it comes to basic principles, everything he says is pretty basic and true. Can you give me an example of his "knowledge of scripture is lacking?"

However, he does occasionally have some great insights and he goes to great lengths to expose the insane and ass backward leftist agenda being forced upon the American people.

He's slightly worse than Hannity, but he's much smarter than Hannity imo.

Obama is sitting in the rain talking about not being able to plaster the birth certificate on his forehead while Beck got more than 300k at the mall and the MSM does not have one pic of one bad sign or statement from either him, palin, or anyone else.
