No, It doesnt make me knowledgable in math...school did. Same as you....

Why stop at 3 classes then?  Why not 10 classes? How about we just give 10,000 people a doller each to lift what they want? Your point is ridiculous and (of course) has to extreme...why a 140 guy vs a 280 lb guy?  HOw about the 200 lb guy vs the 230 vs the 175 vs etc...?

This aint the Olympics or PL nationals...this is an event we came up with to spread a little money around and provide some entertainment at the Olympia Expo...if you think it sucks, then stay home and dont watch...why do you care?

I don't care. Sometimes it's just fun to roll my eyes at retards who don't understand simple concepts. Your little competition will be so great when some Ethiopian runner who lifts weights in his freetime comes and wins the jackpot.  ;D

Yeah...we all get the concept, mastermind.  No one cares if it meets YOUR criteria

The interest is there, got a couple of emails today, and more will come - will be interesting if a lightweight competitor wins it, or a heavyweight.   Who will prevail?

You are an idiot if you think that. How many times you think he will press his bodyweight? Or bench, what, 450 pounds?  ::) ;D This is ridiculous...

Let me tell you. He would be lucky to get a couple legit, chest to lockout overehead presses. There are guys who are ready to knock out 20 reps at this I'm sure. In Ronnie's peak he could bench 495 for 5 partial reps, so know he maybe could get 5 full reps with the 450, maybe a few more. There must be guys who are ready to do 25 or 30 reps at this.

Sure!  Now you're talking.  $10K aint shit.  But then you'd have to raise the IFBB winner's purse to at least $1 mil.

Come on BSN makes millions.  They could easily cover it!  Don't you have some pull with them Bob?

These are exercises and movements that these guys do in the gym on a daily basis...the weights used are such that they wont be doing 50 reps, or a max...

Sorry bro, we just had 10,000 burning a hole in our Olympia sweatpants and wanted to give it away....

we wont count on your participation...

Really Bob? YOu yourself admitted you never did deads of squats or bench ( at least not in the last 20 years) so how do you know so many other competitors do them?

Bob, you mentioned many times here on GB, (in fact I even asked you about it in the last 2 months) how you didn't do sqt, deads or bench.  I don't have the threads bookmarked or anything.

So let me ask you now:
When was the last time u REGULARLY performed Sqts and deads Bob?

I've written articles on the subject, and stated many times that Squats, Bench, DL are not MANDATORY, that there are plenty of other exercises that are just as effective (if not more for some)...

I did all three for the better part of 20 years...as for the last time I did squats on a reg basis...1998 just prior to my back surgery, DL years before that

If you read my article, it explains it in greater detail...

Ok that proves my point.

You haven't done them since 98- (12 yrs)

You said " There are plenty of other exercises just as effective" if this is so then why do you think the following is true: "These are the exercises and movements plenty of these guys do in the gym on a daily basis?"
