i was watchin gall these 80s movies last weekend...........and society looked SO great back then.  EVERYONE seemed white, save for a few black people in the cities

you watched movies about high school kids, two hours would go by without a non-white person appearing on screen


now everything has to be "diverse" and sensitive to the hordes of immigrants who breed and breed............every movie about kids has to have people represented from every culture and race

its disgusting............i wish i could rewind time 25 years, and press pause............we had just enough technology back then that our lives were easier, but without technology being obtrusive and invasive like it is now

everything back then was pretty much the same......cars are cars, TVs are TVs.............the only thing different is the internet

Black people were of course around then, but they kept to themselves more (no racist). While you were listening to Phil Collins, they were bopping in the ghetos. That's why you didn't see them in bars, clubs, restaurants, etc. Yes, more of them mix in now with white culture, but things have moved on since the 80's. In general, I am OK with it. Most of the bad ones are still in areas I don't normally go to. The few I see in clubs or at social events are all pretty cool. Look different and still sound "black" when they talk, but are nice decent people.

this is the key right here. after this era technology went too far...WAY too far. the perfect equilibrium was achieved in the 80's.

I was in my late teens and twenties in the 1980s. The perfect age for a great era.

All in all, I hate the world now, our culture, the way people are becoming and have become. I have an under sized heart that has a walk around heart rate of 105 bpm and even after a deep sleep never goes below 95 bpm and that's at below 10% body fat and a spending a life time, even before 10 years old, involved in physical fitness. So I won't live long thankfully. I'm grateful to have lived during the 1980s when I was in my prime years. It's only going to get worse. I just pray I'm not around when all goes down the shitter.

Probably my favourite movie. But the '80's also had Hollywood bloat like Superman II & III, Scarface. Music-wise, we saw too much drum machine, an over reliance on synth, all fuelled by the vapidity of MTV. It was a pretty superficial decade. You guys are waxing nostalgically.

Fuck, I remember like it was only yesterday when I saw that movie in the theater. That's when I use to go to the theaters. I stop going years ago when I was living in LA because the Blacks can't shut the fuk up and always spoiled it for me. Last time I went was when I saw Passion of the Christ -- LOL!

Anyway, Blade Runner was a great movie. Damn this thread is making me nostalgic. It's also making me hate the world even more.
