Don't know about that. It needs to be profitable before any studio touches it for a sequel. Right now it isn't doesn't look like a huge money maker. It has barely made more than it took to make. They need to make at least 3 times production cost to be considered a substantial success. Who knows though
The pirated copy of it's R5 (region 5) DVD release is already out in all the warez and other download sites, torrents etc, which is going to put a big dent into how it does in the box office. The same thing happened with 'The chronicles of Riddick'.
Tens of thousands if not way more are now going to see it online rather than watch it in the theatres, because it got leaked out this early into it's release.
