  Gunther looked very aesthetic when he defeated Ronnie at the 2002 GNC Show Of Strength. That was the best Gunther ever looked. His delts were wide, his waist was tiny and he had tremendous separations between his back muscle.

  But seriously, guys, let's face it: Gunther has several flaws as a bodybuilder: his structure is lacking with legs that are a little too long for his torso, clavicles that are wide but hips that are wide as well and big joints that makes him look smaller than he really is, anaesthetic square muscle bellies, which are unfortunately so common among white bodybuilders, and many of those muscle bellies are short as well which doesen't give the muscles a full look. Gunther is definitely a good pro, and at his best he is worthy of winning pro shows. But the Olympia? No.

he didnt do cramp in his prime except for the give me show in louisiana which i said ronnie shouldnt have done.  in comeback he wont even win one of those 15k shows.  boy...20yrs and prize money increased 5k in 10k shows.

We can always count on the Black guys to hate on Gunter or any other white bodybuilder. It's so predictable...anytime anyone mentions Jay or Dennis Wolf, you can cue all the blacks on GetBig to say how much they suck and how(Insert any Black bodybuilder)...Kai, Dexter, Ronnie, Leroy Colbert, Wesley Snipes, Karate Jim Kelly, Apollo Creed or  whoever...is so much better. ::)

well in 06-07.........old jay was artificially bolstered


but right, in 09 he cemented himself as the true champ


it only took two years of this "legend" being undeservedly handed the sandow.........for him to then take it seriously enough, to actually work for it


.............get grandfathered into your titles by your blond hair and people's desire for a a new white champion.........JUST like EVERY great champion ::) ::)

That's true.  Although I think Gunter truly is marketable.  The reason why I say that is because I showed pictures and videos of Gunter to girls that I know and they say "Oh, he's not bad" which actually means they think he is very good looking but don't want to say it.  Those are girls who hate bodybuilders and hate steroids.  They still love Gunter so I am inclined to believe that he is indeed marketable.
